The book/characters/plot wasn't engaging. Too easy to put down and not pick back up.
This one didn't hit the spot for me, I wanted more from the characters. I haven't been able to push myself to finish book at this point.
While I enjoyed this story, the writing was atrocious. I really liked Brooklyn and Adam, individually and as a couple. I just felt like the story would be moving along organically, and then all of a sudden, the author ramped it up and rushed something. Most of the initial times Brooklyn and Adam were together were done this way. It was awkward. I felt lost at some points along the way too, like an important detail was missing. It seems like this could've been much more thought out and unhurried. Also, I strongly dislike when authors use as many slang words for genitalia as possible. Pick one or two and run with it. If you have to come up with so many names for vagina, you might need to rethink that particular scene. The English language has so many wonderful words, there has to be more you can say about a scene than repeating yourself. And the dreaded c-word. Ugh! To me, that's an insult. You lose stars just by using it in a non-insulting way.
