Very very short novella to pack too much into 56 pages.

A bittersweet and yet hopeful story of a young man with an abusive past who puts his trust in his roommate who's been on the side of unrequited love for far too long.

It was sweet to watch the roommates find their love for one another respectfully and the holiday played into the story making it truly lovely to read.

Just in time for the holiday season. This is a sweet holiday story filled with hope, and love. This is a short story that you can cuddle up with. Will finds himself beaten down again by his father. This time there is no coming back. Will’s dad found out the Will was gay and tossed him out after some punishing blows. With no place to go, Will starts making the long walk back to his college dorm. Before he reaches his dorm he hears the most beautiful voice coming from the church. Entering the church to get warm and to listen to the music, Will collapses just as his roommate reaches him. The chemistry between Quinn and Will is sweet and fresh. The pacing is pretty fast. For a short story, it has some serious content. The ending was perfect with lots of possibilities. There was just the right amount of insight to Will and Quinn to make them likable and believable.
