I love this series! Eve has a t.ough case to solve involving a doctor and as the mystery gets twisty the action starts. The characters develop well as does the love story brewing between Eve and Rourke. The plot is full of mind blowing action and mysterious circumstances.

I love everything JD Robb!!! Another great mystery with twists and turns. I love the Eve and Roarke love story, and all the friends that are developing into close friendships.

Thank you to Net Galley and St Martin's Press for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Another solid win for J.D.Robb aka Nora Roberts. I am not going to lie, I LOVE all thing written by Nora Roberts. She was one of my original first favorite authors that really got me into reading. The In Death series is one of my favorite by her as I am a sucker for a book with action and this one doesn't disappoint. While you can reach each of the In Death series as a stand alone book, it is so much better if you start at the beginning and read each one as the characters build throughout the series.

Eve and Roark are on their way home from a "Gala" and they nearly run over a woman stumbling out of the woods with blood all over her. It is a race against the clock to find out what is going on and to stop the string of murders that happening. Eve's character is great as always, I love her no nonsense attitude but her innocence to cultural things. Like her "Is that in the marriage rules" or "why is it called...." It makes her more likable. Roark is perfect for her and he has a strong role in helping her solve the case, which is funny based on his background.

The book may be a little predictable but the story is written so well, the characters are developed perfectly and you want to learn more about then all. If you haven't read anything from J.D. Robb, I suggest you start right away. You will not be disappointed.

I love every book in this series and this book was no different. Every story that involves Peabody and Dallas is just amazing and leaves me wanting more.

Thank you to Netgalley and to the publishers for allowing me to read this book.

Even when I don’t love the mystery aspect of the In Death books, I always enjoy reading about Eve and the extended cast of characters. Their chemistry here is top notch. And seeing how Eve has grown, like when she says that before meeting Roarke, she wouldn’t have had the support group to handle her current case, is the best part of this book.

The mystery here is actually pretty great too. Some books have a rushed ending, but this one was laid out well over the last 10% of the book. The final wrap up was a perfect way to not only end the book, but to show what an awesome person Eve is and how she has healed from her past. This is one the better I have read.

Eve and Roarke are headed home from an event when a naked woman staggers out in front of their vehicle. What they find is she's been violated in the worst way by what she thinks is the devil and her husband has been killed.

When Eve finds out this isn't the first incident of couples being attacked in their own home, she is determined to stop this and find out who is doing this to them.

Follow along as they search for this person and tries to keep this from happening again.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Eve Dallas has always been a favorite character and each book just makes me like her so much more.
No matter what the crime, Eve will do whatever it takes to have justice win.
With her husband Rourke on her side, Eve knows she will always get her man, or woman.

Despite being the 44th book in the In Death series, Echoes in Death reads seamlessly as a standalone. I jumped in without having read any of the previous books and had no trouble following the characters or plot. Set roughly 30 years in the future, this fast-paced police procedural features NYPSD Lieutenant Eve Dallas and her partner, Detective Peabody, as they hunt down a dangerous serial rapist. The futuristic New York setting is laced with clever tech and compelling investigative details that give the story a sleek, sci-fi edge. Robb (a.k.a. Nora Roberts) balances high-tech crime-solving with gritty emotional depth and unpredictable twists. The characters are sharp, the plot is engaging, and the pacing keeps you turning pages. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time reader like me, Echoes in Death delivers a satisfying, suspenseful read that stands strong on its own.

Eve is a bit more police procedural in this one, she focuses on one crime and then her normal humor and distaste of cows. The side characters aren’t as high of a focus in this book but typical Eve and her crime solving. If JD Robb writes it, I will read it.

I love this series. J.D. Robb's ability to create a realistic, futuristic world for the readers to immerse in is incredible. I'm absolutely obsessed with Eve and Roarke, they will forever be one of my favorite couples. I love the way they interact and how each one pushes the other to be the best version of themselves while also accepting them for who and what they are. This story in particular was, of course, fantastic. I love the way that the cases are pieced together and it's so much fun to see how Eve and the others think about the crimes their investigating. Such a great book!

This one hit different. I wasn’t expecting to be as invested, that can sometimes happen when the crime in this series happens to many people, like too many victims means we don’t connect at the same level but that wasn’t what happened here. This was intense and emotional and so Dan deep a read. A classic “In Death” story in many ways it was also new and fresh.

My favorite series ever! This was a reread for me of Echoes in Death. I loved revisiting the world of NY Lieutenant Eve Dallas and her billionaire husband Roarke. The murder mystery is great as always. This one has Eve and her team of detectives- with help from Roarke, per usual- working to find the killer of Dr. Anthony Strazza, a prominent surgeon. I also loved how the case brings up memories where we get to learn more about Eve’s past and to see her strength in facing down her inner demons to bring justice for the victims. Highly recommend!

I love this series and thought this was one I had somehow skipped, but I have already read it. Greta characters, fast paced, love Eve and the gang.

I continue to love this series, even after 44 books! The mystery in this book was decent but I am still reading mainly for the characters that I love and the relationships between them. I highly recommend reading the entire series but each book could be read and enjoyed without reading the entire series.

Though I bought my physical own copy thanks to the publisher for the e-arc I received via NetGalley.
