This is a beautiful moving book. "The library at Mont Sait-Michel was once known as the City of Books. It is where a grieving painter came to hide and find refuge from his deep grief over losing his love centuries ago.. Here he began to translate transcripts and his focus became so intent on the material that he develops the transcripts into a thriving beautiful library, it is heartwarming, story that was very moving to read.
