I loved reading this book. It gave me inspiration to not sweat the small things in life because God loves me not matter how many times I fall. Beautiful book

The Hafer brothers love to go to the beach. They see the beach as a place where people relax and get away from troubles. They have written these devotions to help readers experience renewal and relaxation.

They cover many topics in their devotions, from picking up litter to how Lincoln handled anger to people the Hafers have met on the beach. Some of the devotions are informative, giving some interesting facts about beaches or what is on them. The devotions are generally encouraging, relating a biblical truth. They are not probing nor demanding much of a response from the reader. I did not find them very deep nor inspiring.

I recommend this book to those looking for interesting but undemanding devotions. You'll learn about beaches and receive some biblical encouragement too.

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.

Inspiring stories centered around the beach that helps get your day off to a good start. There is also a scripture included for each day. Some of the chapter titles are Counting the Grains of Sand, The Mystery of the Spirit Wind, Getting away from it all. The beach helps people get away from it all. This book encourages you to focus on scripture and prepare you for the day.

How does a day at the beach sound? Pretty relaxing right? Sun, sand and beautiful ocean waves! Authors and brothers Todd and Jedd Hafer teach us through their daily devotions how to relax and immerse ourselves in the word of God. Through prayer and reflection we can learn to unplug from our daily hustle and bustle and pause. To get to the root of what God wants for us and for our lives. It's about finding what matters, what's important and how to live in the present each moment with God. Each devotion doesn't take long to read, but it gets you pondering your life and how you can get closer to God. A fabulous read! I was so graciously gifted this book from Tyndale House for my honest review
