Description

Bitter beer face is a thing of the past, now that the secrets to brewing a great-tasting glass are back!

The first modern book to teach at-home beer-making from a brew-master is back in print.

(LANCASTER, PA) Serious beer drinkers know exactly what they like - a light, citrus color, a substantial creamy head, a gentle dark roast, a good malt backbone, and above all, drinkability. Whatever his preference, the beer connoisseur can now get what he wants in every glass - by brewing it himself - with the instructions inside the back-in-print classic, Homebrewed Beers & Stouts (Fox Chapel Publishing, September 1, 2011) from beer-making expert, C.J.J. Berry.

Homebrewed Beers & Stouts was the first modern book to introduce the brewing process to the kitchen beer-maker, and instantly became the definitive source for anyone looking to try the craft, with over 700,000 copies sold. It provides everything a beginner needs to start brewing: the equipment and tools needed to make beer, a history on the beverage, information on hops, sugar, creating a bitter flavor and much more. It also includes over 70 unique recipes for a variety of beers, stouts, ales and lagers.

Also back in print from the same author are his best-selling wine-making books, 130 New Winemaking Recipes and First Steps in Winemaking (also published by Fox Chapel Publishing). Together these three books will ensure your bar is stocked and your friends are impressed with only the finest home-made beverages.
