An excellent reference book. I love the matter of fact details and the images throughout this book. A lot of points that made me think "Why didn't I think of that?" and others that just made such good sense. We have played around with having some goats once we retire, and this book will be perfect to get us on the right track. Dr. Grandin has such a wonderful way about her, and her ideas and tips are well worth the cost of this book. Highly recommend this book and author. If you have a small farm or a hobby farm, or just like farm animals, this is the book for you.

Ms. Grandon has done such a great job in improving the conditions animals live in in our country, This book brings her characteristic wisdom to farm animals, and gives a great deal of advice in how to properly care for these important creatures.
