Battlefield of the Mind Bible

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review. I am already a big fan of Joyce Meyer, for the way God speaks through her on a daily basis in her messages, her ministries and her books. In this Bible, I expected nothing less than a similar offering. I usually prefer the hardcover Bible so that I can highlight and underline to my heart's content, but I can definitely see myself using this electronic version in study and in church because I like the additional information her version provides (through Battlefield of the Mind) as a supplement to my Life Application Study (NIV) Bible. I highly recommend this Bible as your study Bible.

I have been a Christian for many years, I usually read Bible in a different translation each year. This Bible is perfect for those who love Joyce Meyer's teachings. I found this Bible very useful for self study and very inspiring because it teaches you how to overcome your life and fulfill God’s purpose. I would definitely recommend this Bible to anyone who wants to learn more about the word of God and how to apply it to their daily lives.

Disclaimer: Due to the density and length of the book, I was not able to read every page before reviewing. I did, however, skim through sections, and read the entirety of a few books inside with which I was very familiar.

Full of commentary, prayers, and highlighted scriptures, reading this Bible feels like an intense Bible study without having to bring several other books into it. It intends to encourage and strengthen the faith of its readers, and seems to do just that.

When my current Bible wears out, I will strongly consider replacing it with this one.

Recommended for: fans of Joyce Meyer, Bible readers who struggle with mental health or worry

I have been a fan of Joyce Meyer's for a long time. Her teachings and books are very inspiring and very easy to understand. She has done the same with this wonderful bible. I started reading it and could not put it down! So easy to understand, it is like her words are speaking to one's heart and mind. Battlefield of the Mind will be my go to Bible. I absolutely love the notes that are included throughout the bible. Very helpful and powerful. Also, the Amplified Version is very easy to read and understand. I will use this Bible in my readings, and just when I need a lift me up. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in return for my honest review.

This is the amplified version of the Bible. The book is essentially a study of God’s word featuring Joyce Meyer’s teaching notes that many of her fans will recognize from her teachings. This Bible also has some notes from her best-selling book The Battlefield of the Mind.

My Opinion and Rating 4.8

This is something that I have to say up front; do not get the e-book. The reason is that the book is not as easy to maneuver around. I have Joyce Meyer’s amplified Study Bible and Max Lucadoa’s NIV Study Bible. I missed not being able to get from one chapter to the other easily. In addition, I have other Bibles in the e-book format and they are easy to go from one area to another. Other than that I really enjoy the book and plan on doing a study with the both the Battlefield of the Mind and the accompanying Study Bible. I suggest that you all do the same!!
