I absolutely loved this book. I have not read his work, so after reading this book I ended up doing a little bit of research about this author. - I must admit i was impressed with author's profile and his work.
There is a really good and practical advise about how we can create happiness. There are basic principal of happiness, and lots of inspiring poems. I really want to make some of those poems in play card or photo frames, and have these in my house as a reminder.
I also loved about the concept of " our purpose in this life", if you aren't spiritual then some of the ideas/suggestions can come across as far fetched. but nevertheless these concepts are important. Think of our soul as a glowing candle, and our experience as a soul advancement - such a profound concepts to live by!!
Really good book, highly recommend it.
The book offers a technique for focusing on happiness and how to gain happiness. It outlines a happiness philosophy which is built on the original concepts enunciated by Shintoism and the focus on Ameno Minakanushi's view on happiness and prosperity. The book is highly focused on a positive way to approach life despite life offering both hardships and the good times. The author also focuses on another great Prince - Yamato Takeru to offer additional examples of happiness and how to use kusanagi, the miraculous sword to destroy all the trials and tribulations faced in life.
The book is inspiring and helps us to build our happiness further by focusing on our inner strengths. Some of the concepts require deep thought and at first glance are difficult to believe and deeper insights are required to understand the poetry and the significance of the words in the book. The book gives us a framework to live life with happiness.
