Dark Deception

Dark Deception by Nancy Mehl is the second book in her Defenders of Justice series. I hadn't read the first book in this series, but that certainly didn't detract from me loving this book.  I loved the characters and the pacing of the book.  I figured out some of the things along the way but others kept me guessing til the end.  I got through it quickly because I wanted to figure everything out.  I love how Mehl wove Biblical truths and lessons into the story so it didn't feel forced but fit seamlessly into the story-line.  I am looking forward to reading book 1 and book 3 when it comes out.  A great mystery/suspense story!
