Rosetta was named after the roses in her mother's garden. Rosetta lives with her mother and spends a lot of time in their garden. She loves to plant seeds and watch things grow. She also loves to bury her face in the roses and take deep smells of the flowers.  Rosetta loves to explore. She loves hiking up the biggest of mountains and looking into the smallest of boxes.

A cute little book that introduces your child to prayers and the power of prayers. Rosetta and her Mom were bosom buddies, so when she sneak a peek into her mom’s private prayer box she got a shocker. This book shows your child how important they are and how blessed you are for having them in your life. This book is just wonderfully cute.

An adorable book about prayer and how it grows. Prayers shared between you and God can be private. I loved presenting the idea of a prayer box to my children. The story was presented well with important messages at play. We were sad it was over so soon and felt the story could have had a fuller ending.

The Prayer Box by Jennifer Berry is engaging, being well written with beautiful artwork. The author has dealt with a family friendly topic that could be hard to clearly explain to a young child but never talks down to them. I highly recommend this to a Mom of any faith, because even though it talks about God the concept is non-denominational. Well done.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Dog Ear Publishing for providing me with a digital copy of THE PRAYER BOX by Jennifer Berry enabling me to read it and write a review.

THE PRAYER BOX written by Jennifer Berry and beautifully illustrated by Josie Portillo has 36 pages and will be released on June 4, 2017. Don't miss out on this exceptional children's book!

What if every child knew she or he was an answered prayer?
Rosetta, named after the roses in her mother's garden, loved doing things with her mother. Rosetta's mother told her that she could talk to God about everything and could ask Him for things she hoped for. She also showed Rosetta her beautiful prayer box, where she put her letters to God. Rosetta snooped in her mother's prayer box, causing her to be sad and pouty. After falling while snooping, her mother answers a question that fills Rosetta with joy, love and happiness.

One of my favourite quotes from this book is, "Remember seeds are like prayers, they take time to grow."

THE PRAYER BOX is a lovely book to introduce discussions on God, honesty, privacy, and prayer with your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, Sunday School students, Junior Church group, and even Bible study or Prayer groups.

I had never heard of a prayer box before, but think this is a wonderful idea and plan to incorporate it with my meditations, Bible study and prayer time. What a beautiful way to keep track of prayers!

I highly recommend THE PRAYER BOX and give it 5 shiny stars!
