As the other two books I've read and reviewed in this series, I enjoyed Hibiscus Homicide despite the short comings of the novella length. We get a tiny bit of character development in each book, the settings and situations are all a bit different keeping them fresh enough.

The ghost aspect really needs to be goosed up, it doesn't add anything because the ghosts never seem to be able to help so why have them as an element?

I received my copy from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

This is the 4th book in the Maui mystery series. Each book can be read as a stand alone as the author provides excellent background and history of the characters. The series is delightful and each book is a fun easy to read . mystery.
This is a series rich in location, with a well crafted sleuth of many clues as well as fun characters. This is a mystery that is great fun for armchair travelers who long for Hawaii. I find each book fun to read and a most enjoyable summer read. I highly recommend each book in the series. Thank you for the opportunity to read this next in series which did not influence my review. I look forward to the next in series.
