Description
Oogie the Bear’s Rainy Day Adventure tells the story of Oogie, a little bear who, despite all the obstacles set in front of him, doesn’t give up on achieving his goals. When Oogie runs out of crackers he set out on a rainy day to the grocer to get more, only to find that the baker didn’t deliver any crackers to the store that day. So he sets out for the baker only to find out that the baker can’t make crackers because she didn’t get her order of flour. Oogie continues on his problem-solving adventure until, finally, he gets his crackers!

“The writing and illustrations in this lovely book bring a little tale of perseverance to life for anyone who reads it to a child. Better have crackers and peanut butter handy.”

About the Author:
Michael Weinberger graduated from University of Pacific after earning his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine and then went on to the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1993 at the age of 25. He returned home to Las Vegas and operated a successful chiropractic office until the fall of 2000 when a severe arm injury forced him to step away from his chosen profession. It was during his recovery that he began writing. Michael enjoys writing, archery, martial arts, deep-sea fishing, movies and is a self-confessed "foodie." He lives in Las Vegas with his wife and two daughters where, when not otherwise engaged, he can usually be found shooting arrows into the garage from the custom archery bows he makes during his spare time.
