3.5 stars! Interesting story that kept me intrigued until the end. The characters are well developed and realistic, with believable struggles, and I liked both Mia and Nick a lot. The end felt a little rushed and left me scratching my head about a couple of things, but not enough to have a large effect on my enjoyment of the story overall. Things are wrapped up--there is no cliffhanger. I didn't read the first book in this series, and this one can certainly be read as a standalone, but the characters from the first one show up here, and they sounded interesting enough that I'd really like to read their story.

I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley. This intense romance kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. Mia and Nick had an interesting connection that grew to the end of the book. Great read.

Collateral Risk
Bioterrorism at its best. It’s a thriller, very detailed, which makes the pace a bit slow at times. According to other gossip this is actually possible today. I enjoyed the storyline and would happily pick up one of her books again. Great characters. If you’re an addict or an alcoholic, I would ignore the jibes about AA and therapy. Recovery takes a lot more than 30 days in a rehab, in fact it never ends.

A great thriller about the greed of evil people and their plans. Biological warfare is one of the most frightening and unknown threats that exists. This book gives a fascinating and all too real look with great character development.
