Description

True crime writer Britt Olsen knows the minds of monsters. She never expected to share their DNA.

A simple DNA test shatters everything Britt believes about her past. The father she loved was not her biological parent, and the mother she trusted has spent decades hiding her CIA past. Worse, Britt's real father is a disgraced Mossad assassin known in the intelligence underworld as Abaddon.

Before Britt can process the truth, violence strikes.

Five-year-old Willow Hamilton--the president's granddaughter--is kidnapped, and Abaddon becomes the prime suspect. Determined to help rescue the child, Britt joins forces with FBI Special Agent Stein Nordahl, a man who has spent years hunting the assassin responsible for his own father's death.

As the search intensifies, Britt and Stein uncover a web of secrets that reaches deep into the intelligence world. Forced on the run through the unforgiving Pacific Northwest wilderness, they face deadly ambushes, corrupt agents, and betrayals from people they thought they could trust.

But time is running out for Willow.

To save the girl and stop Abaddon's catastrophic plans, Britt must confront the darkest question of all--whether she is defined by the blood in her veins or the choices she makes.

Because the world's most dangerous assassin has finally come looking for his daughter.

And in a battle shaped by secrets, betrayal, and faith, Britt must decide what kind of legacy she will claim.

True crime writer Britt Olsen knows the minds of monsters. She never expected to share their DNA.

SHE WILL END THIS by COLLEEN COBLE and RICK ACKER is an exciing political thriller that kept me engaged from beginning to end. It was a real roller coaster ride which certainly kept me guessing, with interesting characters, some romance and a very well thought out plot. There is also a good Christian message running through the story.
I cannot recommend this excellent read strongly enough.

What a gripping suspense read with a fast-paced plot. After submitting her DNA online, Britt, a true crime writer, finds herself embroiled in a dangerous situation involving the President's kidnapped granddaughter, long-buried secrets, and a dangerous assassin. Britt joins forces with Stein, a FBI agent, to rescue the child. She Will End This has mostly likable characters, a great connection between Britt and the kidnapped child, threads of faith, and an engaging plot that will have you hooked from the start. Coble and Acker crafted a fantastic novel, and it may be their best one yet.

Wow, this was a page turner! I love these authors together, and this was their best book yet. It was fast paced and the characters were easy to root for. I also liked the switching of POVs as that gave more insight into the story from both the protagonist and antagonist view. Highly recommend for anyone who loves suspense.

She Will End This was absolutely outstanding. I could not put it down. Britt Olsen, a successful true-crime writer, innocently submits to a DNA test. What follows is a series of events she never expected and could never have imagined. The story has many layers, each with its own compelling subplot — from a serial killer relative, to the kidnapping of the president’s granddaughter, to personal betrayals and long-buried secrets.

There are also threads of faith woven throughout the story, adding depth without slowing the suspense. The tension never lets up, making this a wild ride from the first page to the last. The story is suspenseful, the characters are likable and relatable, and the plot moves at a fast pace. This is a gripping suspense read and a true page-turner. Highly recommended!

This fascinating story begins with the results of a DNA test Britt submits to learn whether she carries the gene for Huntington’s disease, the illness that recently took her father’s life. What she discovers instead shatters everything she thought she knew: her beloved dad wasn’t her biological father. Even more shocking, the test result triggers an alert to her biological father — a ruthless criminal and assassin known in the underworld as Abaddon.
Britt Olsen, a successful true crime writer, suddenly finds herself thrust into the center of the most dangerous case she’s ever encountered. Now that Abaddon knows who she is, he is determined to claim her as his own and pull her into his merciless world — a world that currently includes the kidnapping of the President’s five-year-old granddaughter.
When Britt unexpectedly crosses paths with FBI Special Agent Stein Nordahl, the two join forces to rescue the child. As the search intensifies, so does this gripping story filled with betrayal, long buried secrets, and threads of faith woven through the danger. The tension never lets up, making this a wild ride from the first page to the last.
Having been an avid reader of all of Colleen Coble’s books, as well as every book she has co written with Rick Acker, I can confidently say this is their best collaboration yet.

Review of advance reader copy received from NetGalley

This book was absolute perfection. Plot twist over plot twist with just the right amount of romance. I really loved the main characters……Stein and Britt were an amazing team. I also loved Britt’s mom Jenny……she was such a strong and smart woman. The betrayals were really unexpected. I really loved the ending too. The way faith is incorporated into the story was really awesome. This book really kept me at the the edge of my seat. I was really rooting for the main characters. It was an emotional roller coaster to be honest. I really loved the writing style of the authors. It was really engaging and easy to follow along. Even though the book is in 3rd person, the way we get so many people’s perspective was really cool.

I give my thanks to the authors, publishers and to NetGalley for this ARC.

I absolutely loved this book. It was an action packed, fast paced thriller that kept me turning the pages from beginning to end. Filled with CIA missions, dangerous assassins, and a race against time, the suspense never lets up.

I really enjoyed the multiple POVs, and the authors switched between them at just the right moments to give the story depth and keep the tension high. The clues were woven in so well that I was able to guess the main antagonist before the reveal, which made the ending even more satisfying.

The characters were relatable, the plot was gripping, and the threads of faith added meaningful depth without taking away from the excitement. As a Christian, I especially appreciated that element, and it made the story even more enjoyable for me.

This is a thrilling, well written suspense novel and an absolute page turner. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fast paced, faith filled suspense.

Only pick up this book if you are prepared to race through it from the first page to the last. This novel is a compelling psychological suspense novel with twists and turns that will keep you guessing. Britt Olsen knows how to negotiate with sociopathic killers. What she doesn't expect is the news, that her real father is one. That unleashes a chain of events that places her on the run with the help of a FBI agent, Stein Nordhal. Together, the two are trying to save the president's young granddaughter, unsure whom to trust. The tension is taunt and the romance on point. I throughly enjoyed this romantic suspense novel.

Just finished She Will End This by Colleen Coble and Rick Acker, and it was an intense, page-turning suspense novel! This story is packed with mystery, danger, and unexpected twists that kept me guessing until the very end. Every chapter raised the stakes, making it nearly impossible to put down.
What I enjoyed most was the blend of fast-paced suspense with well-developed characters. The authors do an excellent job of weaving together secrets, high-stakes decisions, and themes of courage, justice, and hope. If you enjoy suspense with clean content and a strong emotional core, this one delivers. If you’re a fan of Christian suspense, legal thrillers, or stories filled with intrigue and unexpected revelations, She Will End This deserves a spot on your TBR.

This pulse-pounding 5-star thriller has it all: hacked robotaxi, Mossad assassin, CIA operative, rogue agents, terrorists, and a kidnapping! Tying it all together is a wonderful faith thread about God’s protection and the warning about the seemingly innocent tiny steps we might take away from God.

The narrative centers on a daughter who innocently uploads her DNA to a genealogy website, opening a Pandora’s box of secrets and cover-ups.

“It changes everything, Mom. Everything I know for sure is a lie.”

What do you do when everything you’ve ever known is uncertain and quite possibly a lie?

The co-writing duo made it possible for me to instantly slip into Brittany Olsen’s shoes, allowing the shock of the cover-up and betrayal to keep me turning pages. I kept asking myself what I’d do in each of the circumstances Britt found herself in, and my empathy for her situation increased.

I appreciated the twists, the perfect pacing, the red herrings, the unpredictability of the characters, and the faith thread. I pondered how heredity and environment shape who we are as well as what kind of legacy I want to leave.

I had difficulty believing Britt’s romantic relationship as it seemed to appear out of nowhere. I must have missed the cues! I laughed at my notes attached to the following quote: “He hadn’t realized the depth of his feelings for her.” I added ‘Me neither, dude’ on my Kindle highlight.

I also found that the sections about the Flow (after the rustic Scandinavian cabin and after Schmuel) seemed to be randomly inserted and had little effect on the narrative … for me.

My takeaway? “Loyalty blinds you.” This is great advice to keep in mind as I journey along.

This is a standalone thriller and it needs to be on your night table!

As revelations about her parentage comes to light, she teams up with an FBI agent to rescue the little girl and end one man's killing spree. She Will End This

She Will End This is by far the best book I've read this year. The author has been around for a while, but this is the first book for me. This book a ultimate read!

Synopsis - Britt is up and coming author that had several number 1 books sales. She was struggling with worry about having Huntington's Disease which was the reason for her fathers death. She had her blood sample put out there and her whole life changed for the worse till she met Stein an FBI agent. Together they were hunting for Britt's biological father, whom was a notorious killer Aboddon. During this time the granddaughter of the President of the United States was kidnapped by none other than Britt father.

My thoughts - The book was very well written with characters I fell in love with and so not so much. I loved the connection between Britt and Willow the missing child. There are several twist and turns which kept me intrigued. There are several place where the characters turn to God and his wisdom, protection and love. I hated for the story to end and wished it would continue.

I highly recommend this book and I give it a 5 stars!

This is a companion to I Think I Was Murdered, with some common settings but few shared characters. I am really enjoying the co-writing of Coble and Acker, and I think this series is their best work to date. The premise of an elusive killer that turns out to be main character Britt’s biological father after brutally attacking her mother is so unique, and after reading dozens of Christian suspense books, that uniqueness is refreshing. There is a lot of psychology involved as Britt hunts her father ad tries to stop him from coming after her, her family, and the president’s granddaughter.

I also liked how the authors did not come on too strong with the romance in the book. It was definitely there, but they didn’t hit you over the head with it. Stein was likeable but I didn’t totally buy the FBI angle, he seemed too much like a regular guy. overall, though, I think the writing team of Coble and Acker is the best thing to come around in Christian romantic suspense since Terri Blackstock, who doesn’t seem to be writing much anymore. I will pretty much read anything these two put out at this point.

Imagine taking a genetic test to check out some medical background and instead, you discover information that upends your entire life and everything you thought you knew. That’s exactly what happens in this fast paced intrigue. There are twists I didn’t see coming, heart-racing suspense, and a thrill ride from the first page. Sometimes it felt like one step forward and two steps back in Britt and Stein’s search and efforts to bring down a deadly assassin, which kept me on the edge of my seat. I can always count on Colleen Coble and Rick Acker for a riveting and complex thriller.
