And in Turkey, explore what it means to still be afraid a century after the author’s own ancestors were caught in the Armenian Genocide of 1915.

Raffy Boudjikanian is a national reporter with the CBC in Edmonton. He has worked as a journalist in a number of places around the world, from Nicaragua to France to Montreal. He lives in Edmonton.
