Creative, Fun Story:
I had the opportunity to read this story twice during its development. I am extremely impressed with the author's commitment to his work, and it was a great joy watching it evolve. The plot is remarkably unique and compelling. It is a story of selfless compassion well beyond what one normally sees in the world - very inspiring!

"The Last Resort" is a must-by for the thrill-seeking reader:
The story is a wonderfully woven tale that leaves you wondering if it is a ghost story or something else until the last page. This author had me on the edge of my seat throughout the narrative. With their deep personal histories, the characters in "The Last Resort" were incredibly well defined and wanted to hear more about what would happen to them in the future. If you haven't picked up one of Rajib's book yet, I highly recommend doing so today.

I'll try not to share any spoilers, but I was ultimately left with a deep sense of how the human desire to help others can truly transform a life--or multiple lives.

Great:
I had read his first book, and this is a different kind of story, but the same imaginative writing I loved in his other work. It really sucks you in, where you are sure where it's going and when it twists, you are so excited to see what happens because you don't expect where it's going. It's definitely a satisfying short story, perfect for a rainy afternoon read.

I enjoyed this short story. It was a quick read, which was nice and kept my attention that I wanted to find out what happened to the characters. There were a few places that confused me a little due to not being specific on details but it did not take away from the story. I haven’t read anything like this before. It was different and very intriguing!

First, I would like to thank Rajib Mukerjee and NetGalley with providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

The Last Resort by Rajib Mukerjee is a short story that instantly swooped me into the story on the first page.

My heart strings were pulled hard for Ron and the tragedy of his lost sister and niece. Ironically, she looked just like Ana the woman Devon was dating. As the story unfolds you see how much this tragedy affected him and his life. It was a very interesting and powerful story.

The Last Resort by Raji Mukherjee is a short story filled with inspiration and hope. It is also a story about helping people, even strangers, in their time of need. It is a quick read, but worth every minute. It will warm your heart as Dev and Ana help a man who lost his sister in a car accident.

I received this book on Netgalley and I always review every book that I read. I recommend this one.
