Description

What does Doing the Impossible really mean? This book is for those who have a desire to achieve greatness and are ready to take the steps to turn that desire into a reality. At one point or another in this book, you will experience several different reactions - excitement, curiosity, joy, laughter, or even tears - but the ultimate goal is to encourage and challenge you to make a decision to do the impossible. That may have a totally different meaning to you than it did to Steve Jobs, Thomas Edison, or any of the other role models we will look at; but whatever Doing the Impossible means to you, the goal of this book is to help you realize that you have the capacity to do what the critics think is impossible. - Patrick Bet-David, Introduction to Doing the Impossible.

Doing the Impossible is a roadmap for those who want to do something big with their lives. The book goes over 25 steps that the reader should take to re-create themselves, identify their cause, and make history. Patrick Bet-David shares his own impossible crusade and gives key principles for anyone looking to do the same.

A great way to start the new year, January 3, 2012 By Fardad Farhat - This review is from: Doing The Impossible: The 25 Laws for Doing The Impossible (Paperback) I was happy to receive my copy of Doing The Impossible ahead of schedule. Well done Amazon. Patrick Bet-David writes as though he is speaking to you. He doesn't try to impress the reader with big words. He has achieved a lot in his life and in this book he tells you the essence of what works and what doesn't work. He sites sources for his teachings and backs them up with stories of triumph over struggles. The book is peppered with stories that most relate to. Patrick has a unique way of bringing together the wisdom of the ages in an easy to read book. I learned that without courage all other virtues are less effective. That in life there is an abundance of choices, and he reminds the reader how little time we have, so he puts a fine point on choosing wisely when it comes to your associations, the books your read, the mentors and role models you follow, and your memory making opportunities. He tells why to embrace adversity, to be one of the crazy ones and to focus. A great book.

A step-by-step guide to transforming yourself, December 31, 2011 By Jamie Rudolph "LadyDay" This review is from: Doing The Impossible: The 25 Laws for Doing The Impossible (Paperback) There are a lot of success principles books out there. What I like about this book is that it takes you step-by-step through a process of transformming yourself into the person that can accomplish big things. Bet-David breaks Doing the Impossible into three stages: 1. Recreate yourself, 2. Identify your Cause and 3. Go Make History. A think a lot of people try to go straight to stage 3, which won't work unless you go through the first two stages.

Bet-David also has a compelling personal story as an immigrant whose family fled war ravaged Iran. His personal stories make the book relatable and the idea of Doing the Impossible reachable.

The Impossible is Possible!, December 30, 2011 By A Reader (USA) - This review is from: Doing The Impossible: The 25 Laws for Doing The Impossible (Paperback) I love forward thinking, positive business and career books that buck popular trends - "Doing the Possible: 25 Laws" is definitely one of those. This book challenges you to look beyond your current situation or what got you there (don't dwell on the past) and take positive steps to move yourself to a new and better place. Something may look impossible for YOU - but that's the point: doing the impossible in YOUR life.

Is the economy booming? No. Is unemployment going down? Not really. If you sit and look and those negative things, you will think is it not possible to move ahead and do anything. Doing the Impossible presents 25 "laws for doing the impossible" arranged into 3 sections that I interpreted as "Ready - Set - Go!" If you don't think you can do the impossible in your life - you are wrong. This book provides a road-map to change your outlook and get moving on a plan. Any plan is better than doing nothing and the book encourages you to surround yourself with creative, encouraging people and make your own plan. Want to do the impossible and change your life? This book is a great place to start.
