I don’t usually gravitate towards the SciFi genre, but must admit that this was an easy read with exceptional world building and fascinating and engaging characters. I often found myself so wrapped up in the description of Nabalar, that I wished I were there.

The story did get a little repetitive in places, but overall it was a credible tale and kept me interested throughout the book. I look forward to reading the next instalment in the Awakened series.

Fun book! The story is so fascinating and intricate. I love how there are overlays into each planet. The connection between the main characters is steamy and loving.

This was a great read, and I enjoyed all the twist and turns of the book! At one point, it did get kind of confusing, but I was able to get a better understanding, after backtracking.. I loved how no matter what was put against Ariella, she still managed to keep her wits about her!! I became so ingrossed in the book that I ended up staying up late to finish it!!! I'll totally be looking for the next book to see what happens next!!

I began to read and wondered what I was reading; the Prologue was kind of off putting, a prophecy with complicated wording – or so I thought…

Then BANG! The story began anew with Chapter 1 and immediately caught my imagination. Set in a different galaxy, the interwoven stories within this book merge into a wonderful first of series. A waning to the cautious and those who take the time to read reviews before purchasing, this book leaves questions unanswered – I have to assume they will be faced, dealt with and answered in the next book, however when I checked it isn’t available yet. Suffice to say, I did look for the next book in the series as this one was excellently enticing.

I would definitely recommend this book for lovers of science fiction, romance, adventure, paranormal, and any combination of these.

I am really having a switch and change phase with my reads at the moment. One minute I am enjoying a paranormal romance, next I am on to a historical romance. Then I am devouring a good sci-fi, get me some HOT alien romance.....this beauty nicely fell into that category.
Overall fab plot and characters. The only reason I did not bestow a 5 Intergalactic starts was because of Ariella (the heroine). At times I wanted to send her into the VERY deep outposts of space. She grated a bit on my nervous if I am being truthful. For me she lacked the ability to make a choice and friggin stick to it !!. Ariella for me was a tad too indecisive. Yup, I acknowledge she had a lot on her shoulders but she's obviously THE ONE in Nabalar so she needed to women up a bit and OWN IT GIRL !!!. Just sayin, who listens to my opinion anyway.
Still delivered for me, so all's good.
Nice work Diana and many thanks for the opportunity x
Later peeps xxx

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
The characters + storytelling were very captivating
Ariella has a big job ahead of her.
She is the only one that can save a whole galaxy, but no pressure.
The storytelling + the character's build were awesome!
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!

I nearly failed this at the start as I found the prologue really heavy going.
Thankfully I persevered as at the start of chapter one I found myself totally pulled into a wonderful world with great characters.
It does leave questions unanswered at the end but this takes nothing away from the story.
