Description
This book is not about gaining an instant success. Rather, it shows us how we can build a long-lasting foundation for our spiritual success, which we can achieve through making persistent efforts over a long period of time. When we build inner strengths this way, we can face any adversities while maintaining our calm and high aspirations.
In this book, Ryuho Okawa shares his personal experiences as examples to show how we can build toughness of the heart, develop richness of the mind, and cultivate the power of perseverance. The strong mind is what we need to rise time and again, and to move forward no matter what difficulties we face in life. This book will inspire and empower you to take courage, develop a mature and cultivated heart, and achieve resilience and hardiness so that you can break through the barriers of your limits and keep winning in the battle of your life.

I had a feeling I would love this book after I saw its beautiful, elegant, and amazing cover. It turns out I was right that this book would become an inspiring friend. Author Ryuho Okawa writes with strength and true conviction, making it clear to the reader that it's possible to become stronger in order to deal with the inevitable challenges of life. You could say that Ryuho Okawa encourages us to be the tortoise, not the hare! My favorite parts were the personal anecdotes of the author in which he reveals how his life experiences contribute to the overall theme of this book: to build a strong mind and take time in doing so instead of expecting instant gratification. I highly recommend it to everyone because it has universal appeal and extraordinary value to all readers.
