Description

From USA Today best seller Kat Cantrell, comes a sweet small-town romance series with a touch of magic.

Welcome to Superstition Springs, town in progress.

After being kicked out of the Navy, ex-SEAL Caleb Hardy needs a new mission, and rebuilding an old Texas mining town into a tourist attraction is it. If he does it right, Superstition Springs will become a new home for his band of world-weary teammates… and maybe a place to atone for the horrific mistake they’d made in the line of duty.

Havana Nixon has other plans for the quirky dot on the map she never could quite call home. The town is falling apart. Struggling. Solution: convince the folks to sell out. Except she didn’t count on the infuriating (and gorgeous, not that she’d ever tell him that) obstacle who plunks down in the middle of her land deal and acts like the careful barriers she’s erected against the world don’t exist. Thank goodness she’s arrived armed with a fiancé in tow, never mind that it’s all a sham designed to keep one of her aunt’s famous love predictions from coming true.

But in a mystical place like Superstition Springs, nothing ever goes as expected, least of all a head-to-head between two people with opposing plans, who spark every time they get in each other’s way. If they could just unbend long enough to compromise, they might figure out they both want the same thing—forever.

SEALs of Superstition Springs is a clean and wholesome series starring heroes you can share!

A Lot Like home is a magical read that you can't help but fall in love with. I mean how can you not when a band of ex-Seals swoop in and begin to save a small town that is on the verge of being taken over by the big company. Being led to Superstition Springs by pen pale Serenity, these 5 man are here to help. And boy do they. Caleb steels your heart when his plan comes about. You can't help but hope that he gets Havana (Serenity's niece) to see that erasing the town and building new is not the way to go. This sweet read leaves you wanting to see each of the Seal men find what they are looking for. I love the slow build between Caleb and Havana. There is something just so magical about Superstition Springs. A fantastic read.

Fun start to a new series. This is going to be interesting to see what happens when these SEALs jump into fixing up this quirky “almost” town of Superstition Springs. Caleb and Havana are up first. Awesome meet-cute! Had fun learning about these two people on opposite sides. Glad they came together to get the town headed in the right direction.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I really liked Caleb and his buddies as they try to start a new life after leaving the SEALS. They were pen pals with Serenity who wrote to each of the guys and those letters were their life lines during their deployment.

While I liked Caleb, I had a harder time liking Havana and understanding her need to be in control and that control made her so bossy that she really annoyed people.

What didn't make sense to me was that Serenity could be so nice to men she had never met but she was pretty nasty to her niece who was her family. Yeah, she may not like what Havana has planned but she should still love her.

It looks like parts of the book were a set up for future books like when Cassidy doesn't fall at Tristan's feet when he flirts with her or when Aria keeps imagining her life with Tristan so you know that won't work out!

Cute HEA and wrap up for Caleb and Havana.
