Description

Home means many things to Ramona Barrett and none of them are good.

A family mired in politics and ample amounts of bad behavior have kept her happily far away. Even after her enraged mother escapes, her drunk father sobers up, and her tyrannical grandfather dies, she has no interest in re-connecting to those rotten roots.
A steamy encounter with her childhood friend leaves her swooning like a schoolgirl. He's become a man who dissolves her logic, foils her plans, and buckles her knees. Too bad he's engaged to someone else.
And that's not even the full extent of his secrets.
Can the home she fled be where her new future begins?
If you're looking for smart, sexy characters in a layered, emotionally-gripping story, Coming Home will take you there. This steamy, standalone contemporary romance has no cliffhanger, but includes characters you will meet throughout the series.

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

Coming Home by P.E. Kavanaugh
I enjoyed reading this intriguing story and thought it was well written. There were some steamy moments but it didn’t overshadow the storyline. At one point I thought I was near the end but there was a twist and added a new perspective on the family dynamic. Overall I would definitely recommend it and look forward to the authors additional works.

Ramona and Lucas have been friends since they were children when she was 15 her mum took her and her brother and left. Now she is back home for her grandfather's funeral she is hoping to get out without being noticed but that does not go as planned. I really liked the spark between Ramona and it made for some really hot moments this was a good read and I enjoyed it.

Yes, you can go home again, but things are not always the same. Ramona left home to get away from her politically inclined family. Her grandfather was known for being the most loved governor in Virginia. Ramona goes home to her grandfather's funeral and the first person she sees is Lucas, her first love. He's a chef, now and they are not fifteen anymore. After a night together, feelings are still there. Going to the funeral and the memories of her childhood makes decisions a little erratic and she doesn't know which direction to take. Lucas is a big part of what leaves her torn. But he has heartbreaking secrets that he hasn't shared. I loved the steamy love scenes between Lucas and Ramona. Will they be able to overcome the deceptions, secrets and their pasts to find love?
I received this book from Net Galley and BooksGoSocial for a honest review and no compensation otherwise.

Ramona is in town for her grandfather's funeral. She has no intention of staying. Lucas was her childhood friend now turned lover. Best made plans always have a way of changing. Will all the drama come between the couple? A good read.
