Description

Cara Moncure’s son, Norman, wants to marry Greg Fletcher’s daughter, Stephanie. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem except that Bad Boy Fletch has been a nuisance for Cara since high school.

A widow, Cara owns a successful accounting and estate planning business and enjoys living a care-free life in the small town of Branchton, Virginia. She has also been withholding a dark secret that shattered her life ten years ago.

Greg plays third base for the New England Reds but is seriously considering retirement and assuming control of his father’s construction business. Divorced, he has raised his daughter with the help of his mother and Cara who, through their children’s friendship has frequently been Stephanie’s substitute mother.

What should be a simple merging of families becomes a battle of wills and clash of personalities as Cara and Greg are thrown together for the wedding planning. Suddenly repressed emotions are forced to deal with friendly banter.

Can they come to a truce with their feelings for the sake of their two children? Can Greg break through Cara’s walls of resistance and help her overcome awakened nightmares from her past?

Can Greg help Cara learn to love again?

I received a complimentary copy of Love Again from NetGallery, opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
"Love Again" is a sweet love story featuring Cara and Greg....their relationship since High School has been very rocky. Greg is a baseball player with a daughter and Cara is a widow with a son. When their children decide to get married, it throws Cara and Greg together and that's when sparks start to fly between them. Cara has a secret that shattered her life and she has kept this from everyone for 10 years.
There is a lot going on in this book, It did seem to drag at times but then it would pull me back in.

Love Again is a good romance. I found the book to be well written and enjoyed the plot and the well developed characters. Author is new to me and I enjoyed her writing and will be reading more of her books.

This book was absolutely wonderful. It features an in their fourties couple and it was written and simply a wonderful, heart warming story. It does feature a rape and rapist as a side story so I feel some readers need a little warning before they read it.

Cara has a son Norman and he is 20 and in love with his best friend Sam, who is Greg's daughter. The two have been besties for years and Cara is also close to Sam. But Greg and Cara are NOT friends, they are more frienmies. However all that changes when Greg's mom gets sick/injured and he hears that Norman wants to marry Sam.

I loved all the characters in this story. . It was a fun story and I loved how close everyone was in the story. Greg is a hot baseball player and he falls hard for Cara and he is so there for her. Cara was a great character, and I loved her strength.

This is a really sweet love story I enjoyed this book and look forward to trying more from kay in the future. There is plenty of drama and a couple of twists that makes this a good read but it was a little slow at times but did keep my interest. Cara and Greg have known each other since high school and it has not always been good between them when their children decide to get married they are forced together making wedding plans and have to deal with the attraction between them but will an old secret keep them apart.
