The Scarlet Rose is a very well designed comic, the illustrations are magnificent and the story very agile and easy to read. Although I have not read the first two installments, it was not very difficult to get acquainted with the plot..

This is the second time that I was given the chance to read the reading copy of this comic series from the publisher. Although I wasn't able to read the second issue, I was still able to pick up what's going on. Maud and Guilhem's adventures in a foreign land will entertain comic enthusiast as it is a fast-paced story and that the illustrations were neatly drawn. The third installment in the series is about the story of love, betrayal, and sacrifice that will touch readers, especially Alban's story.
