I loved the idea of this book. Sleep, the need for it and the lack of it, by so many is such a huge topic now and like so many others, it's a topic that I find myself drawn to. Chasing Sleep is well thought out, the break down of chapters, the research and the general thrust of the book are all sound. There is no mumbo jumbo here and while much of what the book contains has been cited elsewhere, it is still worth a read. However, I'm not sure if it was the fault of my technology or not, I transferred directly to kindle (never had a difficulty before) but the spacing was completely out. It made the book very hard to read, I'm happy to look at a revised copy or stand corrected, but as is, since the content is excellent, but the format is poor, I can't review this book fairly on shopping sites. Would recommend highly, apart from the spacing / formatting issues. Four stars for the authors' hard work and dedication to her topic.

This book is great for anyone that suffers from not being able to get a restful night's sleep. The author interviewed several people that have problems sleeping and provided insight into ways to help achieve better sleep. I have started a journal as suggested and am hoping to find the patterns to my sleepless nights and work on them. Great book!
