This immediately proves itself as a decently constructed book, for two people to read at the same time. Yes, you get a large font with simple vocab for the youngster to read, all about a boy going through a magical trapdoor under his bed and finding himself amongst dinosaurs, and a smaller box-out unobtrusively tucked away, with information for the adult or carer to digest and reformat to their child's best interest. The fact this will clearly be used for a multiple range of trips through the trapdoor to see different things heralds a good new series. I did think the wrapping-up could have been done a little more quickly, once the drama was over, but this is fine for the very young – and the parent, who will appear an instant expert in dinosaurs with the help of their sections.

A fantasy story about a kid who finds a trapdoor under his bed that leads him into a land filled with dinosaurs. This is bound to be intriguing and exciting for kids who are into dinosaurs.

A little boy finds a trap door under his bed. His car goes into it and he follows his car. When he arrives he is in the land of the dinosaurs. He sees Tricerotops, Liptoceratops, Marasoura, Tyrannosaurus Rex and more. Each of the dinosaur pages has information on the dinosaurs in a little box. He returns to his bedroom and draws dinosaurs.
This is a great beginner reader book or for children into dinosaurs. Very well illustrated it will appeal to children.
