Just in time for the important 2018 midterm elections, the voting process is brought to life for children of all ages when a charming underwater community comes together to illustrate its importance in the new children’s book, Voting With a Porpoise. While kids giggle over dolphin pod leader Finn and Petey the Porpoise, parents are reminded just how vital voting and civic engagement are for a healthy democracy.

The creative endeavor of Rock the Vote board member Russell Glass and author Sean Callahan, Voting With a Porpoise entertains and educates its readers, no matter their age.

Featured Reviews

I am always looking for a way to teach big subjects on a level that children can understand. The concept of voting is not always hard to understand but the why behind it is. Voting with a Porpoise is a fun book that explains why voting is important and why we should each make sure to play a part in our own community. This book also showed that allowing everyone even those a little different to play a part in decisions.

I was given the opportunity to view this book through NetGalley as an advanced copy in exchange for my review. The opinion is my own and I am not required to give a positive review.
