This is a very well written book that will hold a young girls attention. All four stories are really good mysteries that the Camp Club Girls try to solve. It has a very good lesson in each story and a message of God's grace and love. This book is suitable for any girl 9 years old and up. Thank you Barbour Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own. |

Camp Club Girls- Bailey by Linda Carlblom continues the stories of the Camp Club Girls and their mystery solving skills. Bailey is featured in each story in this book and the mysteries take us to Estes Park, CO, Peoria, IL, Santa Fe, NM and Golden, FL. Each location has a mystery to solve and we are blessed with much information about the area and often its history. The first story is Bailey’s Este’s Park Excitement. Bailey and her family along with her friend from camp, Kate, accompany Bailey’s father on a business trip. They are staying at the historic, and possibly haunted, Stanley Hotel. Will the girls, along with wonder dog Biscuit, be able to solve the mystery of the cowboy and other ghosts? The Mystery Man and the Mystery House finds Bailey visiting her Aunt and Uncle on their farm. Her friend Alex is along on this trip. Marshall Gonzalez has not been seen for seven years and his relatives are planning to have him declared dead. When the girls discover an old house and that someone is living in it, they begin to wonder if they have uncovered a mystery. Then mysterious messages begin to appear on the sheep they are shearing. Is this a prank or is it the real Marshall Gonzalez? Bailey and the Santa Fe Secret is next and just as exciting. Bailey and Elizabeth are visiting her mother’s cousin to help in her pottery shop. The cousin, Halona, is Native American and Bailey and her family learn a lot about the traditions and life on the reservation. When Bailey accidentally breaks a family heirloom pot what secrets will she uncover? The Florida Mermaid Park is the fourth story and we find Bailey visiting her grandmother along with her friend, Sydney. The small park has been in operation for many years but now a bigger park wants to take over. Strange things begin to happen. Is it coincidence or intentional sabotage? This series is wonderful for your pre-teen to teen girls. It showcases girls as being smart and courageous. The girls sometimes do dumb things but what teen doesn’t? These stories would be good to read as a parent and child together and discuss or as young readers group. As a grandmother, I enjoyed reading these stories also. I give this book 5 of 5 stars. I received an advance copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review. |

I really liked reading this collection even though I am not in the age range it was written for. The dialogue between the characters was fun and realistic. It was really cool that the girls are all different ages, ranging from nine to fourteen and it adds an unexpected perspective to the story. I also liked how they all had very distinct personalities and came from different parts of the United States. The character development was great but Bailey and many other characters acted way older than their ages. One thing that was a bit disappointing was that this collection has nothing to do with series order. Instead, the books are sorted by character. I can 100% say that this would have been a favorite of mine when I was younger. |

Camp Club Girls: Bailey is a fun collection of four mysteries. They include: Camp Club Girls: Bailey’s Estes Park Excitement Camp Club Girls: Bailey’s Peoria Problem Camp Club Girls: Bailey and the Santa Fe Secret Camp Club Girls: Bailey and the Florida Mermaid Park Mystery I enjoyed every one of these quick stories. I found Bailey and her friends to be inspiring and great role models for young girls. I would not have any problem handing this book over to my nine year old daughter and allow her to read it. I would love to get the other books in the series to complete the set. I believe she would enjoy it more than me and I loved it. I give it five plus stars. I received this book from the publisher, but was not required to write a review. This review is 100% my own honest opinion. |

If you have grown up with the Saddle Club and BSC like I did, this series is amazing for teen and preteen girls. The adventure & mystery is there, but also character / faith lessons that will make learning life lessons a little easier. Bailey's the youngest Camp Club Girl. She is fearless and full of dreams. I love her spunk and curiosity. Her faith grows, and her desire to become famous is something! She's determined and courageous. Bailey is the most likely to minimize and underestimate the danger, and just take one more step. Usually solving the case, but not before getting them into some kind of hot water. In the Bailey collection, these girls get to learn practical lessons about both sheep 🐑 and pottery, as well as making the spritual connections and application of the scriptures on those subjects. 📌 I received an advance copy of the book from @NetGalley. All thoughts are my own. |

I found Camp Club Girls Bailey by Linda Carlblom to be an intriguing book. I could not tell when the next cliffhanger was going to start or what was going to happen and this kept me right on reading. I laughed at all the pranks that were brought about. I saw while reading the importance of responsibility and the consequences of irresponsibility. Parental note: My daughter (14) is just eating these books up. FYI: Ghosts are part of the first story but the author does bring around, using the Bible, the truth about ghosts. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing/Netgalley and was under no obligation to post a review. Also posted on B&N, CBD |

Linda Carlblom’s “Camp Club Girls: Bailey” 4-in-1 collection includes “Bailey’s Estes Park Excitement”, “Bailey’s Peoria Problem”’, “Bailey and the Sante Fe Secret”, and “Bailey and the Florida Mermaid Park Mystery” with Kate, Alex, Elizabeth, and Sydney each partnering with Bailey, respectively. These mysteries provide just the right amount of danger and suspense to keep girls engaged without being frightening and fall between the Boxcar Children and Nancy Drew as far as reading level and intensity are concerned. The Camp Club Girls series has a nice diversity of characters from different racial backgrounds, united by their faith in God and their knack for solving capers. Although each story focuses on an adventure with two of the girls, the rest of the club is always kept up-to-date on the mystery and offers support through research and prayer. Scripture is quoted frequently and woven neatly into each story, and the girls are given a chance to reach out to others and evangelize as they work on each case. However, they do make mistakes, and they have vulnerabilities, which also teaches an important lesson: none of us are perfect. These stories included several interesting scenarios and settings. From elk stampeding through town to sheep bearing strange messages, from a Native American pottery shop in the desert to Mermaid Park in Florida, there is no shortage of mysteries for Bailey and her friends to solve! They make new friends along the way and help those in need, all while having fun and strengthening their faith. I would highly recommend this series to girls ages 8 and up! I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review. |
