This book was intense. This was a storyline that was completely unexpected. I wanted to read this book because I thought it would have a similar plot to vampire academy by Richelle Mead. It is similar where Alexander has to attend Bathory Academy after he figures out he is a vampire but it had a dark twist to the book as well when he murders a young girl and does not even know what he is capable of. Thinking that sending him to the academy would be good for him, he does not expect to meet others such as Scarlett who has a very deahtly persona to her and is set to end him once and for all, until she ends up falling for Alexander and is bound to save him. My adrenaline was a full rush by the end of the book and the book definitely had a dark twist.

We will consider adding this title to our Supernatural collection at our library. That is why we give this book 4 stars.

I wasn't a huge fan going into the book but as the writing got more comfortable and the story progressed, I really enjoyed this.

I thought that this was a great paranormal vampire story. I enjoyed the pace of the story and how everything tied back together. Thank you NetGalley.

Loved this book captured my attention right away and fell in love with all the characters and their story, you will have to purchase the second installment and sadly the third is still not out yet. Waiting to hear back since it said in the second book that it would be out in Jan 2019. I loved both books and found it so interesting and intense moments with the Saints and the kids that your dying to know what will happen next !

Let me start out that I hate cliff hangers!!!! If I knew this was a first in series I would not have chosen for that reason. I enjoyed the story and the depth some of the characters had but not all we're fully developed. Some seemed to hide great chunks of themselves in this book. Just when I was really getting into it the book ended. Now I have to wait for the next one.

Vampire Hearts is a fantastic book that was very entertaining. I enjoyed the characters and will read the next one when it comes .

This book drew me in and held me delightfully-captive from beginning to end. The characters were realistic, likable and identifiable. And, every settings was described in such a way as to make me feel like I was an actual bystander in that scene. Once I started reading this story, I knew this was a book I wasn’t going to be able to put down! This was paranormal at its vampiest!

I received an ARC from NetGalley of this book and i am so disappointed that I took so long to read it! I literally just finished it! All i can is WHERE IS BOOK TWO and when is BOOK THREE? I want to go to this school. I love the entire book. I love the characters. I love the order of vampire royalty and old blood (pun intended). I will be buying these books and adding them to my sacred collection

I was happy to see another Vampire book. I don't think we get enough of them. I loved this. The main character was fun. The world setting was great. I just sit back and took my time reading it because It was just a fun read. It was not heavy at all which made it a fast read. I highly recommend this.

Vampire Hearts by Katie M John is definitely a must read. If you enjoy vampire novels then this is the book for you.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I am not sure how I feel about Alexander. We don't really get a lot of his background story. All we really know is that he is a vampire that was raised in the human world and he almost killed a girl. His grandfather takes him to the academy so he can embraces his life and his nature. He is trying to settle into his new supernatural life. I enjoy the book and would read more by this author.

I went into this book completely blind as I forgot what it was about (lol) but I couldnt put it down. Was such a great storyline and the authors style of writing was descriptive and perfect!

Fantastically written. Dark, twisted and full of heart. I really enjoyed reading this and cannot wait to see if there are any more form this author.
