Description
When a secret from Holly Weldon’s past threatens to consume everything she values, she must find the strength to fight for those she loves.

Don't be fooled by the sedate opening scenes - this little nugget packs a wallop that has a few surprising twists and turns that will satisfy the best of arm-chair detectives .!

Another new author for me but I will definitely be reading more from this author. Holly and mike move out of the city buy a a beautiful house then their daughter is born everything should be perfect . Things start happening, Mike is never there and doesn’t believe her . Is she making things up or is there really someone out there to get her . Theo’s book is definitely a page turner it was brilliant from start to finish .

I was browsing netgalley on a whim one afternoon and came across this novel in the read now section, the blurb sounded exactly up my street so I thought there’s no harm in giving it a try and I’m so glad I did, it was absolutely fantastic, seat gripping and engaging.

A solid thriller. While the twist was fairly predictable, I really enjoyed the journey to get there. The plot was fun, the characters were interesting, and I will definitely keep an eye out for more Jo Crow books.
