The story Never Fear the Reaper (A Never Fear the Reaper Series Book 1) by Ashley Pagano is an amazing paranormal/fantasy book. I loved reading it. I was hooked from the very beginning and found myself lost in the pages. It not only has a wonderful storyline it has characters that I loved reading about. Ryder is a mysterious character that is asked to help out when Chase needs help getting rid of a poltergeist. She is beautiful, confident in her abilities, and has the skills needed for the work she does. Chase can’t help but be impressed with how Ryder takes care of his problem. He is intrigued, attracted, and drawn to her. He feels a chemistry with her. I love how they banter back and forth. There is sarcasm, whit, and humor. A bit of flirting is done as well. These two had me smiling when I read about their interactions. Chase gets Ryder to let him come along on some adventures with her. Will Chase get Ryder to open up to him about herself? Who will these two find themselves up against on these adventures and how much danger are they in? There is plenty of action in this story and I enjoyed the detail in which those scenes were described. This is a well-written page-turner that I would recommend reading. It is the first story in a series and I am looking forward to the next one.

A quick read with lots of action and paranormal activity.. a young man trying to save his sister boldly strides into an unknown world with the girl who saves her. Think this is first in a series as lots of cliff hanger questions left unanswered.

This read is chock full of action and the paranormal.
I loved that the lead character had a background in martial arts and it starts off with her stealing a grim reaper's scythe and becoming a ghostbuster.
I loved her devil may care attitude and how she was so strong and straight forward. She (literally) kicks death right in the face.
It also surprisingly has some romantic moments, which were unexpected, but welcomed. It played out in a very realistic way.
Overall, this was a fascinating read!

Ryder and Chase are great new characters. This is a fast paced read with action, paranormal activity, humor, and an interesting plot. I definitely want to read the rest of the series to see where things go.

My Review
Never Fear the Reaper is definitely a sci fi paranormal novel that is easy to read and definitely enjoyable. The characters are well-crafted and the fast pace of the story lines was perfect for this book.
I received this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. This highly entertaining paranormal novel is one I highy recommend.
