This was a cute, age appropriate children’s book. I read it to my niece and nephew and they loved it. They say kids are the harshest critics so I’d say that’s high praise!

Small book, sweet story.
The message is clear, right and important: dare to dream, because all you dream up can happen. Before I started the book, I kind of expected the moral to have something to do with animals. Like, it is important to take care of them. Or to give them home. I mean, so many stray cats and dogs are wandering about out there, we should really teach children that responsible pet keeping is very important. Anyway, this doesn't mean that the actual moral of the story isn't just as important, and I liked it very much, I just thought I should mention what I expected. I guess the book can convey this second meaning this way, too, especially if the discovery of the story happens with adult help.
The illustrations and the story are equally sweet, though very simple. It's almost like something one would draw and tell a story about at home, for their own kid. Or even with the kid! (It's actually quite similar to some little "picture books" that I used to create with my grandma back when I was still in kindergarten!) It might be bothering for some people, as it doesn't really look like a "real book", but I can't draw for my life, so I really appreciate it! :D

Oh my goodness, what a sweet story! I’m not sure if this is necessarily a kids book because I want it for myself! The sweet story of a stray cat who finds a forever home. The wording and rhyming was so good and the pictures very cute! I just loved everything about it! Every cat lover would appreciate!

The Story of Meow was a cute rhyming story about a stray cat who just wanted a loving home. Each day the ginger cat searched for such a place and never gave up until her dream became a reality.
I think most people have come across stray cats meowing by their homes, businesses, schools…looking for food and a safe environment. Therefore, children can relate to this short story and understand the messages of perseverance, kindness, and love within this book.
Stories that convey positive messages are always a plus to have on hand in a home or school library. Highly recommended!

This brought a tear to my eye. I've have take in 5 strays over the years and currently have 2 still with me (the others have, sadly, crossed over the rainbow bridge). It's a lovely story, with a happy ending, like every stray should have!. I didn't care much for the illustrations. Sorry, they looked amateurish. They need more polish I think. Still, I can get past them, the story was wonderful and would make a good tale for any age really. I love cats and always take the time to read a new cat story! Even picture books! I think the kids will love this tale.

This book is simple, but effective in getting its message across. The sad, unwanted kitten just wants to be loved and accepted. After trying several times to find her place, she is adopted by some little girls. Her perseverance pays off. I am usually not a fan of rhyming books, since prose can allow you to be more precise with your words, but I liked this book. It reminded me of a Bill Peet book. The pictures were a bit too understated for my taste, but I think that was intentional by the author, given the subject of the book. Overall, I liked it, as did my 3 children. I would recommend it for preschoolers to maybe age 10.

Princess Fuzzypants here: This is a lovely children’s book that follows the travails of Meow, a poor homeless kitty who wants nothing so much as to have a loving home. After wandering the streets and trying desperately to wangle an invitation inside, five room-mates take Meow in.
Life is very good until the girls are to return home for the holidays. No one has thought of what will happen to the cat. Sadly, this is not an unusual story for many shelter cats. Happily one of the girls phones home and her mother tells her to bring Meow home with her.
When they arrive at the farm, Meow’s name is changed to Macy and all her dreams come true. She is loved and safe and lives a long and happy life.
Both story and pictures are darling so I can recommend this book with five purrs and two paws up.
