Peaches ~N~ Creamed is the third book I've read in this series.
I looked over my reviews of the prior books, and was disappointed that I hadn't changed my opinion of them.
I just can't connect with the characters, they fall flat for me. There is usually someone that gives me a chuckle, even if it's not a main character.
There's no one in this series that does that for me.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for approving me to read this book.

A nice cozy mystery, well written and entertaining.
I liked the fleshed out cast of characters, the plot and the setting.
The mystery was ok, no plot hole, and it kept me guessing till the end.
I look forward to reading other books in this series.
Recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Peaches N Creamed by Karen C. Whalen is the 6th book in the Dinner Club Murder Mysteries, and another fun addition. I am a Colorado native, so I loved the location of this book. It is also a big treat to get fresh peaches from the western slope, every summer. Jane Marsh and her fiance visit the western slope during Peach Festival along with the rest of their Dinner Club. As part of their getaway package at the B&B they plan on playing a murder mystery game. When Jane finds a body, that is not part of the game, the owner begs for help in solving the murder. This book has more twists and turns, that kept me reading page after page. I found this book to be a quick read, with a well developed plot and characters. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. If you love cozy mysteries, I strongly recommend this book/series.

I reviewed a digital arc provided by NetGalley and Wild Rose Press. Thank you.

This is the 6th book in the 6th book in the Dinner Club Murder Mystery. Main character Jane and her Fiance Dale had finally chose the date and place for their wedding. Jane, Dale, (Jane's fiance), Olivia and Doug, (Olivia's husband) are staying at the Bed and Breakfast owned by Olivia's brother-in-law, Holden Ladner, located in the Grand Valley wine country on the Western Slope of Colorado. A murder is committed in the basement during the first night of their stay. The victim Reynard Barre, owner of one of the local winery owner and mayor of Barresville is found. His owner is also the desired destination for Jane and Dale's wedding. It is Jane's mission to find out who did Rey in while still working to firm up her wedding destination plans.
Karen Whalen provides not just the plot solving the murder but also provides her readers with an insight into the beautiful state of Colorado. I had not previously read any of the books in this series but found I could identify each of the parties with no difficulty. The plot was well written but the characters in book, although probably developed in prior books, were a little bland. Since I've not read prior books, I will attempt to read them.

Jane Marsh and her fiancé Dale attend a Peach Festival in western Colorado to check out a location for their upcoming wedding. Two other dinner club members (Olivia and Doug) also come along to make a weekend outing at their brother-in-law Holden's B&B. They all play a murder mystery game as part of the B&B’s getaway package but Jane is horrified when she discovers a body the next morning for real. The victim is Rey Barre, winery owner and mayor of Barreville. The B&B quickly begins to lose business, so Holden and Olivia beg Jane to use her amateur sleuthing skills to solve the crime fast. When another person is murdered, Olivia confesses to both murders. Jane is in disbelief and knows that Olivia is just protecting both Holden and her model daughter Isobel from being arrested by the local police.

I enjoyed reading the earlier Dinner Club mysteries but this one fell a bit flat for me.

I received an eARC via Netgalley and Wild Rose Press with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and provided this review.

I need to read the books before this one. I know I will enjoy it. I love wine themed books. I will eventually read this book again. I want to save it for others
