Kindle Copy for Review from Net Galley and Pelican Book Group .

I received a free, advance copy of this book and this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

It is an amusing story of the antics of a beauty shop that leads to a hair rising day for the owner. As hair products suddenly do not work as advertise which slowly morphine into a calamity that is out of a control.

Not to help matters an out of town stockbroker crashes his car in the store window and in the mix love finds away to blossom in the least likely manner. Love. will strike when we least expect

This book made me laugh and smile a lot. It's a fun read, engrossing and entertaining.
I liked the style of writing, the fleshed out cast of characters and the humour.
The plot kept me hooked till the end.
It's the first book I read by this author and won't surely be the last.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

This was a cute, Christian based romance set in a small town. The description of the book made me believe this book would be different than it was, however, I still really enjoyed reading this book. Eve and Phillip were both great characters and their romance was very sweet. I was hoping the hair calamities in the book would be humorous, but oddly, they weren't. I think that would have made the story better. Overall it's a sweet romance that readers will enjoy.

Hair Calamities and Hot Cash by Gail Pallotta is a funny mystery. Stockbroker Phillip Wells comes crashing through Eve Castleberry’s hair salon but that is just the beginning. Eve’s products have been tampered with somehow and threatening notes are showing up. Phillip is from New York and somewhat out of place in tiny Triville in the North Carolina mountains. Phillip and Eve become friends as the damage is assessed and he has to stay while his rental car is repaired. Mysterious happenings continue and they become partners in trying to figure out what is going on. Is someone out to sabotage Eve or Phillip or both of them?
I enjoyed this book and had a good laugh as I read it. I don’t want to give too much away but consider your worst day at the hair salon happening over and over. I give this book 5 of 5 stars. It is a fun read; the characters are realistic and the ending has a logical conclusion.
I received an advance copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

This was an Ok book. Not exactly what I was expecting, especially from the title. I guess I was looking for something more humorous. All in all it ended up being a sweet romance.

An entertaining light romantic mystery. The meet cute was clever. Sure, one may have to park your realism at the door to the hair salon, but this was exactly was I was in the mood to read.

Hair Calamities and Hot Cash was not what I expected. I thought it would be more of a humorous romp, instead it is a romantic mystery. It was an ok book for me. Wish it could have bern more.
