Description

Juliet N. Jones (also known as J. Nichole Jones) quotes: “Before we talk about me, Let’s talk about you! Have you ever been Tired of being Tired, or Tired of being Sick and Tired?" If so, this book is definitely for YOU! I use to listen to the negativity in my own head that I called the “bad me”.

This voice that said you could not do this or that, you are not good enough, or you don’t’ have what it takes especially based on being broke, being broke down, (in many ways - including broken relationships, or even in my case I had several cars that literally broke down on me, and naturally it was always when I was on my way to work - Go figure.)!

I’ve even experienced broken circumstances (spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and/or financially).

We often allow extenuating circumstances, or too much attention to the negativity, doubt, and/or fear to enter into our lives (or our own head) which in turn holds us back from moving forward, and living our best life - let alone pursuing our dreams.

Have you ever allowed negativity, fear, or doubt to keep you from doing something you wanted to do? Well, that was me (key word is was), BUT…one day the good me started talking, and I decided to listen.

The good me (I call it my good voice) started saying “yes you can, you are worth it”, etc. One day I got so tired of being tired, wanting better circumstances, and a better life, I decided to recharge myself with belief, refuel myself with affirmations, and pressed restart (because it IS ok to start over as many times as needed), and I’m so glad I did!

I’m just a girl from Harrisburg, PA who dared to dream as a jobless, divorced, single mother - who wasn’t privileged nor famous – who went from Zero to CEO, and started the Dream-Build-Win Model for success based on my personal experience.

What's certain about this book is that the author does not shy away from sharing her most personal struggles and joys and it makes this more of a personal conversation.
It was great learning about a new model the Dream-Build-Win model that she founded and how she uses it, and my motivation for reading this book was the desire to know how to step back and recharge. I've done this through sleep and listening to music, but now I am looking more for what would help generate income.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.

A little bit not as I expected, but I'll give it a go! I do like books where the author is straight forward, and here the author gives a lot of personal, intimate details. Overall a good book for the category
