This book passed all expectations, with a pivotal drama happening at the beginning of the book. It really raised awareness that this author grabs the readers attention from the first page and continues to the end. I loved the prologue. Laurel has come a long way and surprisingly finds herself loyal to Paul. David is complex and portrays the changes well. I love the extended chapters and can’t wait to read move of this author’s work
