The book is a good way for mothers to take a moment for themselves and work on their relationship with god. Some days reference other materials, but readers aren't required to look into them for the lesson of the day. The personal accounts of the contributors are relatable and address common worries associated with motherhood.

Book has nice one-page devotionals that are easy to read. Some examine a scripture passage, some are more of a story. I read the ebook, and each page started with a hyperlink to a scripture passage. I enjoyed reading these, but there is a shorter verse just ahead of the day's devotional, so reading the longer link is not a requirement.

This is a gospel and scripture centered devotional meant to help mothers focus on strengthening their greatest calling being a mother. I enjoyed the anecdotal recounting mixed with scripture it was heartwarming and personal. I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

Pros: they are short and quick reads on those busy days where you need some good truth but not a whole lot of time.

Each day was a modern day story that related to a verse or theme in the Bible. I personally was hoping for more of a study of the scripture and less story telling. This was not my favorite devotional, but I can see it’s practicality for a mom in a busy season of life.

This is a sweet devotional for moms in all seasons of life. It’s lessons and Bible verses cover a wide range of topics and are quick reads. I love that there is something here for everyone no matter what stage of parenting you’re in.

What an absolutely lovely devotional! With a blend of scripture and anecdotes, moms can refresh and rejuvenate without a substantial time commitment. Every personal contribution has a corresponding scripture passage, and they really inspire thought and reflection. The devotional is organized along a calendar, so it will work best if it is begun at the beginning of the year. I am really enjoying this devotional! As a mom of two little kids, I don’t have a lot of time for my morning devotionals before I start the day with my children. The short reflections are a good length, and I like that there is a new one daily. I also really like that there is a scripture citation at the beginning of each daily reading so I can also read scripture in conjunction with the lesson of the day. Since I’m reading this on my kindle app, all I have to do is click on it and it links to the full reading. I really like the convenience and the beauty of this book. I’m looking forward to continuing with this book throughout the year.

I have read The Daily Bread for years and was thrilled to see this new daily devotional targeted to busy Moms. Each day has a perfect topic for a busy Mom - in fact what Mom is not busy? The message for each day is one of encouragement for any mother no matter the age of their child or children. It's only one page so easy and quick to read but is the best way to start each day. Absolutely love this book and the idea behind it to reach mothers of all ages who wear many hats.

This is a wonderful little devotional book for busy moms. Each day there is a Bible verse and a little reading. Nothing is very long; nothing is very deep. But it gives a busy woman a chance to reflect on God and meditate on what she read during the day, perhaps while folding clothes or cleaning the kitchen or vacuuming. Anything that brings a person closer to God is worthwhile.

As I read this, I realized that although there are 365 devotions and they are meant to be read one each day of the year, there is no reason why several can't be read in a day. And because they are so light, they can easily be read again later in the year or even the following year. The focus is to remember the goodness of God and this book does it well!

Great book for moms who are short on time and only have about 5 minutes to indulge in the word. This book is very useful for moms in any stage of life. It helped remind me that the work I was doing was very important and that doing the best I could was good enough. I would recommend this book for moms who are struggling balancing it all and need a reminder that we are doing our best.

I was a little surprised at this book because it's a different approach than most in its genre. Compared to others, this seems to have more snippets of a real person's life and their reactions to the situations around them, including how to make circumstances more positive, despite what they may look like. It's a story-based inspirational book that you'll either really love or it might not be your cup of tea. Depending on where you're at in your inspirational journey, this could be just the ticket for you because it's a real person sharing their daily insight. If you're looking for something more general or vague that fits many different personalities, you might want to keep shopping around. Overall, I like the unique approach, even though it wasn't my preferred style. I'm sure there is a large group of mom readers out there who could relate to it though. Moments of Peace for Moms delivers just what the title says -- a very short, easy to read devotional, often with questions at the end to make you think about your life and where your mind and behaviors are taking you. Having downloaded it onto my phone, it is easy to pull up and read when I have a quick moment. I appreciate the ease of use and some of the stories within helped me to re-think my own attitudes about things.

I should start off staying I do not have any children. However, I have still enjoyed the various devotionals and thoughts presented for each day. Each day has a different message tied to a scripture reading. The message is different and each one that I have read makes me stop and think for a moment about how I am living my life.

Each day's devotional is short but packs a punch with its message - love one another, treat each other with respect, care for those around you, and remember to pray and thank God and those around you for all the good in your life.

It allows you to lose yourself for a moment to regroup. Love the way it way compose and the artwork was amazing, The collection of the articles help you to go right to the one you need just for that day.

This is a user friendly book of devotions suitable for a busy mother. The devotions are very short, but meaningful and always contain reference to scripture. They provide biblically based food for thought that can be meditated upon as one goes through their day. I would recommend to any busy mother who despairs that she has no time to spare during her day for a “quiet time”.

Moments of Peace for Mothers is awesome! The reading takes a moment or possibly 2, and the scripture is linked, making it only a click away, and only requires a moment.

As a homeschooling housewife with 2 busy little boys, this book meets all the requirements for a daily touchstone. It is not a deep Bible Study that takes an hour (gotta have those sometimes-just not every day with little people), but it does refocus and reframe the day beautifully.

Each day has either an extremely practical tip, or a story that resonates, so you don't feel like you are the only one who deals with wild stuff.

The tips range from practical motherhood strategies and encourage you to be disciplined because it is do-able, to enhancing your time with God.

I would highly recommend this book to every mother / mother to be. Even grandmothers would enjoy it and be reminded of the early days.

Moments of Peace for Moms is a great devotional for us busy moms. Each days passage is meaningful and impactful without being overly long. I like how some days I could totally relate to the scripture and days passage. I would definitely recommend this to busy moms.

This was a good devotional. I always like the structure of short devotions to read each day to encourage you to stay in God's word daily even on the days you don't feel like you have the time.

I have read a lot of devotionals. I wouldn't say this one is one of my favorites. I have read others that I found more relatable and continue to use as a reference. I don't think I will have the desire to reread this devotional.

We can teach them important values . We can also guide them in making important decisions. We must put God first in our daily lives so we can impact our families. These devotions are a great way to put God first. The topics are geared toward the daily demands a mom faces. It is well written and each devotional is the perfect length for a busy mom. I really enjoy these daily devotions for women. i believe this is the second book like this that I've read and they always seem to hit so close to home and truly describe some situations I've found myself dealing with. I get a sense of peace reading these devotionals and will continue to read them even though I've finished the book.

Moments of Peace for Moms sounds like a great idea. As Christian moms, we all need short, quickly readable bits of spiritual thoughts to digest every day.

However, this devotional didn’t do it for me. Instead of deep thoughts, the devotionals are all personal, story-based snippets. Some don’t seem very well fleshed out, and some are all right. But overall, this is not a book I found myself eager to return to or even keeping my attention.

Though each day here has a bible verse to consider, the stories just didn’t give me a lot of information about the verse and how I should meditate on it, and instead gave too much emphasis on the personal stories for my taste.

That said, I realize that I personally lean toward more analytical studies and devotionals, and some moms might prefer the method here.

I love "Our Daily Bread." As the mom of a toddler, I was very excited about this title. While I have certainly found some of the devotionals uplifting, I was a tad bit disappointed. Some of them seem only tangentially connected to parenting. Others seem like they are missing the connection. There is the story, but I feel like a few more lines of text would have better connected the story to the message of the devotional.

But, on the other hand, if you are super pressed for time (what mom isn't!), this gives a quick refresher into the Word..

Easy to read, short devotionals for moms who don't have a lot of time. This is a great resource for getting in some prayer and quiet time while still attending to your family. Highly recommend to any mom!

I grew up watching my parents read Our Daily Bread devotionals that came monthly. Daily Bread is now making a yearlong compilation of devotions that has a section of scripture to read from Bible and a verse at top of a page devotion. The one for mothers is perfect for a mom to grab when she has five minutes and needs a quick encouragement in the job of raising children. Each devotion contains truth and will strengthen a mom. This is a great gift for a mom to use as the New Year starts.

Very well selected verses where it makes you to stop and think and wonder where you are going and why and what maybe you can change in yourself to be a better mom,woman and just a human being!

I like how there is scripture at the beginning of each day. The message is also something a mother or single person can relate to. The messages are not long, so it is a quick easy read at the beginning of the day before things get hectic or at the end of the day when you want to wind down,

This is a great devotional for moms! Also, would make a really good gift. Each day has a new, edifying devotional. The verses and stories correlate to the everyday life and struggles that moms face. It helps us to connect a little better with God's word.

Definitely a good way to start your day by setting the premise of peace in your mind.

Everyday inspirational readings are a great way to start or finish your day. This is a book to consider. It has a reading for every day of the year. These only take about five minutes to read and if you’d like to write thoughts are questions or anything that inspired you through the reading you could do that too. Some topics include stress and worry. This is an inspirational book and perfect as a nice size to carry with you to perhaps read while waiting on your child at a practice or keep it by your bed. It includes a theme each day with a Bible verse and something extra for reflection, such as a brief personal story or reflection. It is set up with the day of the year at the top, but use it how it best suits your needs. Maybe not everyday and every story will reach you in is a nice book. The questions at the end get you thinking too. Will these devotions give you moments of peace?

This is a daily devotional aimed at mom's but really, it can be any person in a "mothering" care-taking role. I feel like if you are taking care of someone, you can be considered a "mom." This book might be for you. The devotionals are pretty straightforward. Not something to help you dive deep in to the word, but something to help keep you refreshed each morning or each night before bed. I only read a few days worth, but the ones I read were uplifting and offered scripture to go with them. I think this book would make an awesome gift for a new mom or even someone you know who just needs a pick me up. Stick a coffee gift card inside and you are good to go.

I am a Mom for my grandchildren. I never thought I would be parenting again at this stage of my life. This book is a daily reminder to me to count my blessings and be thankful for all the love in my life.

This is a nice devotional book for moms. I. liked that each day was a short and meaningful story to go along with the Bible verse. It is important to have a Bible handy as you read each day so that you can read the verse in its entirety (sometimes the verse is only in the book in part and sometimes the quote give is not even from the verse for that day). For moms looking to fit in a Bible devotional each day, this is an easy option.

This book was different than what I normally read, but I really enjoyed it! It includes a short daily read, starting with January 1. I didn't start it at the beginning of the year, but I really liked how each inspirational story was quick and only took a couple minutes of my day. Some of the stories hit home more than others, but that is because we are all individuals with different struggles, so the same ones that I really liked might not be as meaningful to the next person. They were all a joy to read no matter what.

This book opens with the statement, “Moms deserve their very own devotional book.” — a statement with which I wholeheartedly agree. As a mom myself, I’ve experienced several days of struggle in caring for my children.

Even with spending what time I could in the Scriptures, there were days when I would have loved to focus on things that pertained to my role as a mom. While I could search for and read passages that related to motherhood, the reality of time constraints makes this particular devotional book so valuable. The Scriptures and devotions presented are already together in one place providing an opportunity for moms to deepen their relationship with God while performing one of life’s most challenging roles and dealing with time issues.

This devotional makes an excellent gift for any time of the year but it would be a great way to help a mom begin the new year. The mom on the receiving end will be so grateful for it.

I enjoyed reading this book both as a mom and a daughter who loves her mom. It was inspiring and heart warming. I grew up reading Our Daily Bread and I enjoyed this book.

As a busy mom to two little ones, I rarely have time to sit and read anything that requires a lot of focus. This one page devotional is short enough to let me get some spiritual reflection time in. Each personal story has scripture that you can reference and expound upon when you have more time. This would be great for moms of all ages to give them brief moments of peace with God.

Great devotional for moms. I find joy in reading through these in the morning or when I get overwhelmed with motherhood. Such encouraging devotionals and great scriptures.

If you are a mom and you struggle finding moments of peace this this cutesy little devotional is definitely for you. I would highly recommend.

These were nice, after becoming a mom it's nice to have some little devotions for everyday to remind us we are not alone in this journey.
