Pretty good. The author creates a good amount of suspense, and does a pretty good job of creating interesting characters. I like hard scifi and this belong in that category. I have to check out the next the series.

It's an interesting book. The plot was intricately woven. One does not understand until the ending why people are acting as they do.

Darrien was an interesting main character, I enjoyed going on this journey with him. I liked him as a character and he felt like a real person to me.
