Three Days

While somewhat far-fetched, I enjoyed the story until the end. It ended far too abruptly with a seeming happy for now as opposed to a happily ever after. I would have given this 4 stars if it had an epilogue or a sequel. It seemed like a lot to go through in the book not to really get to read the two MCs find their happiness in the end.

An interesting idea for a book – written by two authors, the idea being that they would write alternate chapters from the “his“ and “her“ perspectives.
I liked the idea of this book and its execution was okay but the ending was weak – just like Paul/Kurt’s novel in the story, I wonder if this was rushed at the end to meet a deadline? It feels as though we need to find out what happened next – a twee happy ever after isn’t quite in keeping with the rest of the story after all!

Absolutely amazing book! So cleverly written and heartfelt! The best book that I have read in months!

You are just willing these characters to get together and stay together from the beginning of the book, but it is written so cleverly that you never lose sight or the hook that keeps you turning the page.

This was a good book. I enjoyed the characters and the overall story. It was a very quick read - I had a hard time putting this one down. I also found it interesting how the chapters were written in dual perspectives by two different authors. This screamed Hallmark to me and I could definitely see this being made into a movie. However, much of the book was very predictable and I found the ending to be very short and abrupt. I would have preferred a more detailed ending - and to know what happened next between the two main characters.

He asks her what and she gives a rather scathing reply . Unknown to her he is the author! Though they have a very different viewpoint of life and he’s hurt by her review if true to a point. They are drawn to each other . She has tickets to a book reading with her sister which is his own which he is loathing to do . She suddenly leaves the theatre and in the foyer calls him to ask him to meet her now which he does abandoning the reading ! They have 3 whirlwind day of love then life spirals to pull them in total different directions.

Fabulous book heartbreaking in bits with the twists the odd bit predictable as life is. Great. Recommend it.

I liked this book.a lot. and had a hard time putting it down. I'm always a sucker for a good romance and found myself rooting for the two characters to find their way back to each other. I enjoyed how the chapters were written by two different authors giving us both characters perspective. I found the ending to be quick and wished there was more between the two main characters.

I did NOT expect this book to be so good! Coincidently, I just finished reading "One Day in December" and the plots do have some similarities. Once I realized that I was a little hesitant to read "Three Days" right away. Boy, am I glad I did. I was so invested in this story, in the characters, in their future. I simply could not put this book down. Both Kadie and Paul are believable and they are not perfect, but I loved them all the more because of that.

I am so so happy I received this book from them. It may not have the prettiest of book covers but dont let the cover change your mind about reading this book. I absolutely LOVED it and loved the story. I really wish there was a second book to this one because I want to know what happens next with Paul aka Kurt and Kadie. I need to know!
This book was also a very quick read for me because its only 202 pages so it wont take you long to read this one especially if you are enjoying the story.

I loved the back and forth between both characters telling their points of views and not just hearing from one character. I did get mad at Kadie a few times though from her actions. I wanted her to go after him not just keep ditching out (sorry spoiler alert).. but seriously stop running! I couldn't wait to find out whether and when she was going to find out about him.
I highly recommend reading this book to each and every one of you.

😊 I totally fell in love with this story about a sudden, irresistible love that persisted through one obstacle after another. How refreshing to find a romance with so much passion that resonated so clearly without steamy clinches. I was delighted at the pacing, the characters and the outcome. This is the chance encounter turned life changing and all consuming that every romantic dreams of. What a tour de force👍👍!

All Kadie wants to do on the plane is finish reading her book while her seat mate, Paul, wants to discuss it. She isn’t impressed by the book while he doesn’t reveal he is the pseudonym-using author, but she does agree to a “date.” A whirlwind 3 days follows with Kadie and Paul each believing they are in love. Then life gets in the way.

Three Days is a beautifully written romance with the right amount of angst. The characters are engaging and believable; the author’s alternating POV chapters work well. This book kept me interested as I had to know what happened next. Will they meet again or will they forever wonder, “What if?”

I really enjoyed Three Days. An author meets a woman who is reading his latest book while on a flight. He introduces himself by his given name rather than his pen name and asks her what she thinks of the book. It takes her a while, but she finally admits that she was underwhelmed by the book. He doesn't reveal that he is the author and they click personally. Later they are separated by circumstance and she never learns about him being the elusive Kurt McCarthy.

I found the dual perspectives written by the two authors enjoyable to read. The whole idea of a whirlwind romance that happens over a few days is definitely cliche and I could appreciate how the authors worked with the idea of clichés throughout the book. This starts at the very beginning when Paul and Kadie meet and she describes his latest book as being weak and cliche. She repeats over and over throughout the story that she doesn't want to be a cliche, but still finds herself longing for some of those things that she considers just that. Both Paul and Kadie go through a lot before we get to the end of the story and I found myself quickly reading to find out how it would turn out. I was able to predict a lot of what would happen, but I was ok with that with this book. I liked how it rolled out and I enjoyed the writing. My only criticism is that when I turned over the last page I couldn't believe that was the end. I wanted a little more to show me how the characters story went on. I wanted more proof of a happily ever after. One little epilogue would have been enough for me. I am glad I discovered this book and I thank the publisher and Net Galley for the opportunity to read a review copy of this book and give my honest opinion, which I have done here.

Three Days was an enjoyable book for me. It held my interest from start to finish. It is an interesting story written from two perspectives. Even though it was a quick read, Felicia Case & Michael Wojciechowski did a wonderful job developing characters and telling their stories. I really enjoyed the change each chapter between the two authors. I did finish the book wanting to know what happened next.
