"""Move over, Judith Krantz and Jackie Collins! If you like rich details, too, then CEO is your kind of book. Gitt lays it on thick with lavish descriptions of the opulent lifestyle, decor and fashion so standard in this orbit of the one-per-centers. The ending will surprise.""

""Patricia has a terrific narrative voice that really makes this story move along. Also blows a lot of stereotypes out of the water-highly recommended!""

""I really enjoyed reading this fast-paced book! The plot was engaging, the characters real, and the setting very realistic. It was also very educational for someone not involved in the day-to-day intrigues of the business world. I would recommend it to an adult audience.""

""CEO book was an excellent read. It was smart and gripping from beginning to end. I had a hard time putting it down."""

Pleasantly surprised by this one, it has an interesting plot and easy to read. The publisher called it a "page turner", I agree. Well written, one tiny little thing in perhaps two places did throw me off, a bit of confusion over proper use of two words. Minor little blips, they didn't bother me for long and the plot took over again. I'm mentioning only in case a reader asks why I gave it 5 stars. The errors were easily dismissed as I got caught up in the story again.

This book wasn't like any other I'd ever read. The start felt a little slow paced, and with a lot of characters appearing through several chapters. But then, like in a movie, the rhythm picked up and everythingstarted to make sense.
ML is a young female New York company's CEO, hiring a writer to work on her biography as a business strategy. The action takes place in the late 90's. Intrigue and some heart breaking fill the pages of this book.
It is a great story. Maybe a little screen-structured, but interesting.
A good read for fans of Dallas and Dinasty.

Enjoyable read that i got through quickly. Set j. The #metoo era, it looks at it from a successful woman’s perspective, when she meets someone who she later wants to work with. It shows how much harder it is for women in Hollywood which clearly shows the double standards. Thank you for letting me review this book.

Commercial intrigue, newly announced ceo. Can a woman have a private life and be a business success? Business journalist looking for a story, access granted to the new ceo but is she who she seems to be. A glimpse in to the boardroom and bedroom of the key players. Start of a series to follow other key characters? I hope so.

This is fast paced and intriguing. It's very engaging and hard to put down. Gitt wrote in a way that you get a real feel for the characters.

Set in the late 1990's. A woman CEO in a male dominated world. The environment and description of everything was very real. Made you feel like you were there. It could become a series, though I don't know that Gitt has even thought that way

Thanks to Netgalley for the Kindle Version of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
