This is a difficult one to review.
Did I love the plot? Yes. Was I engaged in the story? Yes. Do I want to continue with the series? Yes!
However I found the sex scenes - of which there are many! More cringe inducing than smutty and while I understand that they were a large part of the plot I just don’t think they were needed and it would have been just as good if not better without.
I found the characters okay...but the writing style took a while to get used to which took me out of the story at times. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series to see where the story goes!

Loved reading the spellbinding and mesmerizing paranormal story. Even though Emilia wants to find out more about her background and inheritance, her dreams about a mysterious man, Massimino, leave Emilia full of yearnings and confusion. When Emilia & her adopted sister, Amanda, travel across the world to a small isolated town, Emilia discovers Massimino is real and a dark sorcerer. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, full of action & suspense, and a riveting story line. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I was not sure what to do with this book when I started started reading it. I was a little confused but once I got passed the first couple of chapters the author's writing style started to make sense to me and the book was much more enjoyable. Emilia and her sister travel to Europe to settle the family estate and that is when Emilia starts to have dreams about a man. This man is Massimino and he is an evil sorcerer. He wants revenge for what happened to him and he wants to us Emilia to help him get it It is a book that you will want to read in one setting. It is an intense ride and makes me want to know know more and more.
