Description

A fast-paced thriller about a shockingly possible new kind of terrorist attack. As we guard our land and air, could devastation come from the seas?

A terrorist-controlled ship is heading for an iconic city. Tens of thousands will die if the security services fail.

Tracking data confirms a deadly cargo has sunk to the bottom of the Indian ocean. Only one man doubts it. But Dan Brooks is new to the security services, and his face doesn't fit. As he closes in on the truth, a traitor needs him out of the way, permanently, and his ambitious bosses cut him adrift and cover the tracks of their private agendas. Isolated and risking all, Dan pursues his case clandestinely, hunting sophisticated terrorists who know how to slip under the radar and are intent on devastating a globally iconic city.

About the Author

CARLOS LUXUL has worked for over 30 years at the top of the shipping and global logistics industry. Along the way he has met presidents and ministers, war criminals and cannibals, scrambled a country's Navy and Air Force, and done business with the Bin Laden family – the entirely respectable multi-billion Saudi BinLaden Group, not the founder's wayward seventeenth son.

I received an ARC from NET GALLEY!!!!

"A thriller that grips you from the start", how many times do you read this 'can of soup' comment so many times it makes you not even try the book. Listen, the Ocean Dove restored my faith!!!

I found Dan interesting and believable. The tension with Dan and Vikram provide a good story within a story. I found myself rooting for many characters in this book, and the terrorists are not the usual "Chuck Norris" style cut outs. Choukri and Mubarak have an authenticity to them that is too often missing today.

The "Ocean Dove" is really an Eagle/Hawk from the first chapter and the chapter did grab me! The take over of the boat makes me wonder is this the real author's name and what is their own training background.

Don;t let the "eco" spin turn you off, GREAT read here!hey are shown as real people without any of the old cliches. In fact all the characters are distinctively believable.

The way this is written, “terrifyingly plausible.”. is an understatement!
