Description

                 TURNING TRAGEDY INTO BLESSINGS

Grace. It's a tiny word but a powerful one. What is grace? It is exercising love, kindness, mercy, and favor; a disposition to benefit or serve another.

The remarkable women featured in A Mother’s Grace put grace into action after a profound loss of either home, health, a loved one, or a livelihood brought them to their knees.

Though they experienced unimaginable tragedy, each of them turned their suffering and grief into something positive to help others.

Through their tears, these everyday women found resilience, and carved their own intuitive path to create powerful nonprofit organizations that are helping to make the world safer and more empathic for us all.

Their poignant stories will inspire you to dig deep and find your own grace through trying times, as they lead us to a brighter and more hopeful future.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of this book will be donated to Mother’s Grace and other organizations led by powerful women who are healing our planet one person at a time.

A Mother’s Grace is filled with stories about the strength and resilience of women. Maternal energy sustains life and our planet. Michelle Moore has done an amazing job of showcasing that the givers of life are also the ultimate protectors of life. Michelle’s book touched me deeply.”

--Candice Rosen, author, Forget Dieting!: It's All about Data-Driven Fueling

“Unless one experiences hardship, grave illness of a child, or even looking squarely into the face of one’s own death, one misses the opportunity to empathize with others who also experience devastating need, loss of a beloved, or the annihilation of the home and village that had been the ancestral home before a tornado. Through acquaintances with strong, inspirational women, Moore found personal healing through faith, love, service, and friendship to others by sharing and writing about their experiences. By founding A Mother’s Grace, a nonprofit that now assists mothers and their children in the midst of tragic life events, this dynamic Power Woman was able to face her adversity, become resilient by Grace, and ‘raise her soul to a higher place.’”

This is an ARC, and I'm so glad I got.to read this book.
A Mother's Grace by Michelle Moore is a book of triumph and making the best out of tragedies and battles. You hear or read 10 different stories from women who have gone through some major tragedies and made the best of them. They have lost parents, kids, or other things and made foundations to help others not go through what they did alone.
I didn't see any cons, except that I want more now. It's a deep emotional book. I cried a couple times and I am sure some others do too.
