This is such a lovely devotional. I've been going through each day's readings and tasks with my ten-year-old, and she and I have been memorizing the scriptures together, as well. It's just the sort of encouragements and affirmations that she needs during this sometimes difficult age of growing from a child to a tween, and dealing with the uncertainty and stress in the world. Since reviewing this book myself, I have purchased three copies for each of my tween grand daughters. .Loved and Cherished is filled with daily devotional messages of encouragement, inspiration and opportunities to reflect individually based on their unique personalities. The authors use real life, timeless examples that girls can relate to their own situations. The devotions are quick but meaningful to read and support busy lives filled with activities.. The passages engage thought process that build a foundation for future leaders. The book is well organized and I like that it is co-authored which give insights from different perspectives. Loved & Cherished helps build confidence and would make a wonderful gift for any girl in tween to early teen years.
