Description

Continuing to help teach powerful messages during critical development stages, in the final book of the Small Voice Says series, Big Heart Feels, by father-daughter authors Mike Morrison Ph.D. and Mackenzie Morrison, offers an educational and heartfelt message about instilling compassion in our little ones daily lives with colorful illustrations and relatable situations.

The main character, Angela, returns in beautifully-detailed illustrations and uses her small inner voice to utilize her newfound skill of “putting herself in someone else’s shoes.” Shown through a collection of situations centered around discovering compassion and understanding for others, Angela begins to learn the power of pausing and reflecting on other peoples feelings before making decisions.

Big Heart Feels continues to help little ones cultivate the inner reflection skills that will allow them to speak up about how they feel and begin understanding others emotions. Inner reflection skills are necessary to guide children through all stages of life and it is one of the most important skills a parent can teach and also continue to co-learn with their child.

In Big Heart Feels, we learn to allow our children to start the reflection process. . . what does your small voice say you should do?

Not a book you read to, but a book you read with children, Big Heart Feels will find a forever home on any bookshelf by exploring:

● Education and empowerment of girls

● Cultivation of a strong inner voice to enact feelings and motivations

● Discussion opportunities for parents to create a more nurturing relationship with their child

● Expression of individuality

● The beginning steps of instilling compassion in your child

● Expansion of learning capabilities
