Ava is the first in a series but works perfectly well as standalone. It has romance, angst and a bit of mystery. All which make it a good read and compels you to want to read more in the series.

I enjoyed it and liked Ava. The text was nice to see and I look forward to the sequel. The characters were interesting and it Ava see the struggles she goes through.

I was intrigued throughout the book.
The story follows Ava and Cade. Ava is the type of person who has everything planned down to the second. She is sure of having the best last few months of her senior year with no problems. But Cade, one of her best friends, tells her to forget her schedule and go out with him. When she enjoys the date, she realizes it’s okay for her to go out for herself. Then when her car gets painted with hurting words, she retreats into her cocoon.
I loved this story. It made me want to cry every two minutes. This book was action-filled. I was surprised by the outcome and will surely get the second book. I wasn’t able to put this book down. I read it all morning and skipped lunch! It was amazing. I look forward to reading the sequel.

i really enjoyed reading this book, it was a good start to a series. The characters were great and I really liked the story.
