A fae princess is thrust into a world outside her comfort zone and all she has going for her is the desire to know about the blue magic she wields in her palm and who is attacking her kingdom. I love an adventure and this first book gives that and promises more. So, let's just say that I was bummed that I have to read book two to have all my questions answered. The pace is fast and it's got a bunch of mythical creatures from fae to shifters to elves and goblins.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.

When dark magic threatens the Fae kingdom, the King is arrested for treason. It is up to Princess Dana, who was forced to run after her father's arrest, to discover not only the source of the attacks but to find out the truth of her new powers. Along the way she must learn how to get along with one of the sworn enemies of the fae - a shifter. Will she arrive in time to prevent the attacks?

Fae Prophecy is the first book in The Fae Prophecy series

What I liked about this book

Each place that Dana visits is really well described and you can easily picture all the places she visits and people she meets.
I liked how there was more than one type of magic and magical creature seen through out the story.
I think Thomas is my favourite character because even though he and Dana don't always get along, he still tries his best to look out for her.
Dana and Thomas travel throughout the book and are never in one place for long, which helps move the story along.
What I didn't like about this book
Dana is extremely judgemental and naive for most of the book and thinks everyone is out to get her.
Over all I really enjoyed reading this book. If was action packed and really draws you in. I would recommend this to anyone who likes fantasy books.

The Fae Prophecy by Toni Cox offers an interesting and enjoyable read about how quickly life changes during unexpecting times. The book forms part of the Fae Prophecy series and focuses on the life of Princess Dana, her initial perfect life dreams and plans that unexpectedly changed into sudden influences of darkness. Dana experiences a life of dark secrets, magic and also the appearance of another stranger in her life.

The author's writing style presents an intriguing read while keeping the reader wondering during all times, what may happen next. Readers who enjoy fantasy books that focus on the occurrence of magic, interesting characters and elves, most definitely will find this worth the read.

this was a great start to a series, the way Ms. Cox created the world and the characters in this world. I enjoyed the magic and how it was used.

3.5 stars.
It was actually more enjoyable than i thought! Dana is a bit annoying, bland and draws the wrong conclusions all the time wich really annoys me as a reader. But Thomas and Arianna are very interesting and funny characters, and i realise Thomas is a love interest but it wasn`t insta-love and i`m very happy for that. The book wasn`t too long so things had to happen, but it also needed to be build up some and i think the author made it happen nicely. Though i could do with the book being longer , more detailed and stretch the happenings over a while.
