This little book of mostly one and some four-panel, jokes with illustrations made of Legos, is hilarious and charming. I loved it! With nearly 70 cartoons (for lack of a better word) it featured mini-figures of all kinds getting into all kinds of situations.

I had planned to point out a few of the jokes in the review, but there are just too many. A perfect little present for LEGO lovers.

LEGO Small Parts is an amazing short book, full of super cool photo-comics made with LEGOs.
As a LEGO fan (although still a novice builder), I really enjoyed the builds and I found some really cool ideas.
On the side of the comics themselves, the humour was on point and either relatable or contextual.
I recommend the book to both LEGO fans and non-fans that like humorous pictures.

I adore and love this Lego book. It is witty and clever. Parents will like it as much as kids with the puns and jokes. I think every library should own a copy of this just for the lighthearted humor.

LEGO Small Parts is a book of pictures of LEGOs. Each page is a picture with a lego scene. All scenes have LEGO people and are cute. Some of the pages are funny. The pictures are good and very colorful. This book was unique and I enjoyed it.

Aled Lewis is a Lego lover with a sense of humor. The humor in his book Lego Small Parts: The Secret Life of Minifigures fits right in with the silliness of the Lego movies and video games that my kids enjoy. (Who am I kidding? I love them, too!)

Lewis's Lego creations in Lego Small Parts are scenes with minifigures going about their days, captioned in the style of single-panel cartoons. Many, but not all, have Lego inside jokes, like the figure who stepped on a Lego brick barefoot, or the many jokes about minifigures' hair and hats.

If you are a Lego fan at all, you will appreciate the little details in Lewis's creations and you will love the silly Lego humor.

This book is a collection of photographs of Lego mini-figures in humorous situations. The photographs include captions and dialogue similar to a comic style approach. There are nerdy references (you shall not pass! in the race scene was one of my favs). This book reminds me of a popular Instagram account Lego Graduate Student who is often seen in relatable circumstances, such as tired at a meeting or annoyed with a faulty printer. One of the things I like about lego art (and why I requested to look at this book on Netgalley) is the creativity that the designers have with the figurines and props. Yes, some of the jokes are cheesy, but they still make me smile. I like the lil' Lego worlds and this book would make a good gift for someone who is 1) into Legos and/or 2) someone who likes puns and humor books.

This is a lovely album with funny, punny and witty comments on the panels depicting the secret life of LEGO minifigures. Highly recommended, very enjoyable.

I really liked this book, you tend to just think of LEGO being bricks or sculptures/models and this one showed that they can be so much more! I liked the use of the bricks to create the different scenes, some were very funny and did make me giggle! This is an ideal read and gift for the LEGO fans out there! It is 4 stars from me for this one!

Review to come September 11th to my blog/goodreads.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

Another Lego book, I am so happy to see more Lego books up on Netgalley as I am a big big fan of Lego (building, collecting, etc.).

This one is all about the daily lives of the minifigures that live in the Lego World. Each page is a different life of minifigures. We see someone identify criminals, we see Rapunzel and that had me in complete stitches, yeah, that is what you get when you ask someone made from lego to put their hair down, we see a bouncy castle... gone wrong, and much more. I had so many giggles while reading this one and I just love the situations the author/photographer made. There were just so so much fun, and I loved a peek in the lives of all the different minifigures, what a life they have! Some normal, some wild, some out of this world.

I definitely would like to add this book to my collection, I am also pretty sure that my husband will enjoy it as he is another big lego lover.

I would recommend this fun book to everyone who loves Lego.

When I saw this book, I was hoping for something that would be cute, colorful and light hearted to pull me out of a bad day that I was having. This book accomplished that and more!

A lot a humor, some on the nose and some a little deeper, but overall, a nice quirky read.

My favorites would have to be Rapunzel's hair, the Trojan horse, the alien abduction, and Gandalf in a go-cart.

This is a cute book, and would be great for any Lego lover, kid, or adult that's a kid at heart.

If you ask people: "When you hear 'Lego', what's the first thing that comes to mind?"
Probably "building things" is the most popular and widely given answer you will find

What's less known is that Lego-characters have absolutely a will of their own
And turn out to have a great sense of humour, once their thoughts are shown

Aled Lewis knows all about that.
Through this small book of 64 pages he gives us an insight into what's going on in the heads of those funny yellow characters who live in the world of Lego.

Every page displays a joke, most of the times through 1 panel but sometimes also through 4 panels.
The settings are very varied: from hairdresser to surgery room, from prehistory to aliens, from prison to filmset, …
Some jokes are rather predictable, but most of them are really original.

Conclusion: Refreshing and funny point of view on the world of Lego.

Small Parts looks at the world and every day life through the prism of Legos.  It is a wry take on common situations.  Those who put this book together really know how to use their Legos to good advantage.  A personal favorite of mine was the scene in which one Lego said to another, I feel like I am talking to a brick wall.  If this humor appeals to you, you will enjoy this title.

This small book packs a lot of wit and entertainment! I found myself laughing at almost every page - Lewis does a great job dreaming up humorous scenarios for his LEGO characters. I plan to buy this book as a stocking stuffer for family members who love LEGO.
