The Love Square

This book is everything I look for in a rom-com. A realistic, strong main female character who is trying to find happiness. Respectful men. Three-dimensional LGBTQ+ characters in happy relationships. A fantastic non-binary character. A will they or won’t they storyline. From beginning to end, it was absolutely perfect. I wish I could read it again for the first time.

I absolutely loved this book! I loved how real Penny is and how she’s struggling with trying to find love. I loved how she was still coping with the death of her mother from breast cancer, and dealing with her own aftermath of that diagnosis. I love how she wants to find that one person she can be real with, regardless of whatever situation she’s been going through.

This book completely blew my expectations away. The writing is phenomenal, the story is beautiful and poignant, and the characters are well thought out and well rounded. I couldn’t put this book down, and I loved going on Penny’s journey with her.

Penny finds herself in a tangle with three different men, who are extremely different from one another. She isn't quite sure how she got to this point in her life when her love life was nonexistent for the longest. This was a witty and funny read that will tug at your heart.

Can you say rom-com! I loved this one. It pulled me in from the first chapter. Light and fun to dive into and enjoy. This will give you the pick me up that you need when you want to read rom-coms. The characters were really great and enjoyable. Some parts had me pulling away just for the unbelievable aspect. But overall a cute and fun book! I would recommend this to a friend!

What a great RomCom! From the beginning, this story was captivating and so much fun! Loved the main character and was finding myself rooting for her the entire time. I cannot wait for it to get released to read it again!

This is a romance novel that highlights everything I love about the genre. It tackles heavy subjects like grief, cancer, and infertility while including hope and humor. Our protagonist Penny has had a rough go on the dating scene. Then she meets a series of incredible men who all bring something different to her life. Ultimately this story is about Penny's journey to dig into what SHE wants wants from life, and how to find happiness internally. The humor is top notch, and I like the unique plot point of multiple romantic interests. I highly recommend this one for readers of romance.

A very witty rom-com that was so easy to get lost in! After struggling to find love, Penny suddenly finds herself in quite an unexpected situation, there are multiple guys interested in her and they all bring something positive to her life. This book was such an easy read and really just a pleasure. If you're looking for a happy love-fest pick this up!

What a lovely fun twist on a modern romance! Penny Bridges starts out with absolutely zero romantic prospects but quickly finds herself, to some extent involved with three different men. From start to finish i was on the edge of my seat wondering where the story was going to take me and never quite knowing who are heroine was going to end up with but I was so pleased with the result. The completely non-traditional HEA with her family of choice was the absolute best way for this story to end. As I read this book I found myself both laughing and crying with heartfelt tears for my heroine as she put herself out there to figure out what she truly wanted. One of my absolute favorite things was the inclusive of strong confident male characters who weren't afraid to express how they felt.

Although they were not the two main characters, this book gets major points for including strong representation from gender non-binary and LGBTQ+ community.

Oooooh, I loved this! What I expected to be a light, fun read was really a self-discovery novel with many good laughs. The author's style was so fun and the pace was spot-on for me! I can't wait to read more of her books!

This was an awesome read. Fast-paced but still well developed. I loved the exploration of different types of romantic relationships. I have already recommended to friends!

This is a quick read that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside! If you're looking for a fun rom-com, laugh-out-loud beach read, look no further! Another winner from Laura Jane Williams!

OK so anytime I see a book with a similar cover I know it is something I am going to pick up.

I was not disappointed with this book. Fans of The Flip Side would love this book.
