The two main characters have great chemistry and you want them to be together even though it seems completely impossible. This is a great tale that is well written. I especially enjoyed the narrative and dialogue that set the stage for such a convoluted tale that actually begins with a betrayal over twenty years before the story starts. The author very skillfully weaves together all the elements of romance, murder, betray and suspense into a storyline filled with surprises, unexpected twists and turns that have you invested until the very last page.
